America is sick. Yet it’s sickness has a normality.
You have people quite happy to see children ripped from their parents arms whilst that same person is anti-abortion.
The country started on genocide. It was built on slavery. White people felt no remorse pouring scolding
coffee over a persons head because they were protesting by sitting at the counter. They had no remorse dragging a human being to a tree and lynching them. They had no remorse burning a person alive at the stake because they were deemed a witch by religious nut jobs. A country
that has no remorse in the deaths of children in school because the right for anyone to buy a gun was more important than children’s lives. America has a sickness that is evil and these people claim they are moral because they say they believe in a God.

The co-author of Section 230, has made one thing clear: there is nothing in the law about political neutrality," tweeted Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), who co-sponsored the law.

Trump lied purposely because he interpreted the law how he wanted when he signed #ExecutiveOrder
To the contrary, the explicit goal of Section 230's authors was to free platform owners to make editorial judgments without worrying about the legal ramifications.
The centerpiece of the order is an effort to strip big tech companies of protection under Section 230, a federal law that immunizes websites against liability for user-submitted content. That would be a big deal if Trump actually had the power to rewrite the law. But he doesn't.

.@BarackObama The Obama administration declared swine flu, or H1N1, a public health emergency six weeks before H1N1 was declared a pandemic.

No H1N1 deaths had yet been recorded in the United States.
The H1N1 influenza virus was discovered in the United States in the spring of 2009 and spread around the world.

It was originally referred to as "swine flu" because many genes in the virus were similar to influenza viruses that normally occur in pigs in North America.
It was serious. From April 12, 2009, to April 10, 2010, in the United States, there were 60.8 million cases of swine flu, 274,304 hospitalizations and 12,469 deaths, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimated.

For four years we have known about disinformation.

Four 3 1/2 years I’ve tweeted about it.

But people are still making the same mistakes.

People are arguing online with Bernie trolls who are not Bernie supporters, worse they are listening to them 🤦‍♂️
Please read 👇👇👇👇
Disinformation and new propaganda can take many forms, from the use of false visuals or misleading headlines, to social media techniques that create an impression that the “majority” understands an issue in a certain way. In the echo chamber of the modern information space,
the spreading of disinformation is as easy as a 'like,' 'tweet,' or a 'share.'

Ping pong – The coordinated use of complementary websites to springboard a story into mainstream circulation.

Thread:
700,000,000,000 was paid out to banks and corporations in 2008. How that money was used is still a mystery. The working people were left with NOTHING

When America thinks of the bailout, it is that sum of 700,000,000,000 that they think of.
READ ON!
Most people think that the big bank bailout was the $700 billion that the treasury department used to save the banks during the financial crash in September of 2008.
But this is a long way from the truth. The Special Inspector General for TARP summary of the bailout says that the total commitment of government is $16.8 trillion dollars with the $4.6 trillion already paid out.

After all the work @SpeakerPelosi #MadamSpeaker this is what McConnell wants.

McConnell Corporate Slush Fund:
· McConnell’s bill includes a $500,000,000,000.00 corporate slash fund for CEOs and the ultra rich — while leaving workers, families and children out to dry.
McConnell’s bill has weak stock buyback language that can be waived by the Treasury Secretary; executive compensation limits only last for two years; language on worker retention is weak and includes easy outs for companies;
there are no assurances in the language that workers will benefit. The bill provides little transparency of the lending done by Treasury (amount and to whom?).

One thing we need to address going into 2020.
Why did Bonnie Smith, a baker in Ohio, who gets up at 1.45am every day, who voted for Barack Obama in 2008, voted for Barack Obama in 2012, why did she vote for Donald Trump in 2016?
She was raised a Democrat. Her parents are Democrat. Her husband is Democrat, before the baker’s she worked for elected Democratic sheriffs in a county that had not voted a Republican into office for as long as she could remember in her 60+ years.
Her county voted Kerry, Gore, Clinton,Dukakis and Obama got a 55% majority vote. Twice.
