At my first ever job, I was sexually harassed by my manager. I reported it, and quit that job.

I was young, just graduated high school. I've always been passionate about what I do, and I would stay as long as I needed for the work to be done. I hate staying over time since.
At a previous job, my reporting manager was a predator. He passed comments on my body and he bullied me until every day was a struggle to get out of bed.
He told me they could never fire him, he was too important. And he made it clear he was a vindictive person, and that he could end my career if I reported him. I reported him anyway.
I reported him trepidly. Pleading that this not be made a big deal, or registered officially (because the official systems are bullshit). I was guided to switch departments - despite being best suited to that one. He continued his life without any consequence.
"Toxic work atmosphere" feels like a sorry phrase that doesn't measure. I wanted to die. I felt less than human. Others in the department participated. If it was just him, I would have been okay. But they appeased him, they ridiculed who he ridiculed. They excused him. I left.
I was informed today that he was fired. So were two of his most loyal cronies. One of whom he was dating, despite being married with at least one kid.

Immunity?

Sabh taaj uchalay jaain ge.
Anger is the first resistance. It is an insistence to recognize wrong, and commit to accountability. Anger is the first struggle, because it is not allowed. They cage you in a box, label you a species suffering a disease which anger is a symptom of. Angry feminist. Always angry.
Anger is my first right. The right to my body and peace comes with anger as a safeguard. If my body and peace is violated, anger is my right. Haq. And I have struggled for my right to anger. Gaslighted myself until anger distorted to doubt, self hate, loss of reality.
When someone tells you that you shouldn't be angry, they would rather the violence be appeased to not upset the shaky foundation the violation is fabricated on. The floor is lava, but we must pretend the volcano is dormant so as not to upset the volcano.
No consumption is ethical under capitalism. No system that upholds it is ethical. Overtime is exploitation, but it is also gendered discrimination.
HR considers loss of labour due to loss of profit, not loss of dignity or bodily autonomy. What autonomy tho? They believe your body is owed and bought. Capitalism is prostitution, of course.
Anyway. I struggle with my right to my anger.

But sabh taaj uchalay jaain ge. Sabh takht girain jaain ge.
