My competitors are selling iP68 waterproof.
I'm selling a stress-free summer on the beach.

Story-telling is giving your brand personality.

Stop being boring.
Sell through emotions.

The world isn't short on ideas

It's short on execution

When I was in College I would miss all my 8AM classes cause I wanted to sleep in.

I thought I hated mornings.

Now I wake up naturally at 6:30am with the Sun shining in my face.

Turns out I didn't hate mornings.
I hated that lifestyle.

You don't need a $3000 MacBook Pro to start working online
You don't need a high-end table to start working online

You need discipline and a dream.

I started with a $250 Acer laptop
An old iPad case for a mouse pad
My desk was my bed or floor.

You gotta make shit happen.

Lebron James spends $1.5 million per year to care for his body.

> He's never been injured for more than 2 weeks.
> He's never missed a playoff game.

He isn't the GOAT because of pure luck.
Lebron has invested in his ASSET.
That is why he TOWERS over the league .... at 35.

A THREAD on some insightful thoughts about Investing by Utsav Shrivastava (@utsav1711) Sir:

β‘  No one made wealth in their first bull market
β‘‘ Most quit the game in their first bear market

Two truths from my equity experience.

If u spend β‚Ή1 lakh on your credit card and repay β‚Ή95,000 by the due date, you are still charged interest on the full β‚Ή1 lakh.

I am 100% sure most card users don't even know about this.

I have met so many investors who lost money in one stock and are hell-bent in recovering it from that stock only.

Bhai..stock hai..Amrish Puri nahi jisne ki tumhare khandaan ko tabaah kiya hai !!

Revenge works in cinema..not in equity.

A THREAD on some insightful thoughts about Mutual Funds by The MF Guy (@TheMFGuy1):

If you keep asking for the best mutual fund scheme on twitter, better to be an index fund investor.

If all funds in your portfolio are top performing or behaving in the same way then you may not be well diversified.

The basic principle of diversification is low correlation between your holdings.

My favorite category in debt funds is a low duration fund with low expense, quality portfolio and a decent AUM.

I don't look beyond this category for my debt allocation into Mutual Funds.

A THREAD on some powerful thoughts about Life by @WallStPlayboys:

In school: "follow the rules & you get an A+ (reward)"
In real life if you do this? You'll be *underpaid*
Now you know why it is taught.

Most underrated skill in life is Quitting.
Won’t hear that from motivational speakers because it is the harsh truth.
When you realize you can’t get significantly better at something or peaked at something, quit and move to the next project. Requires having your ego in check.

β€œI can work really hard”
Can you outwork a robot that is on 24/7/365?
Well then time to find a different way to add to society.

πŸ’° A THREAD on some insightful thoughts about saving & investing by @RichifyMeClub:

β€’ Avoid debt
β€’ Avoid over-spending
β€’ Avoid investing on tips
β€’ Avoid timing the market
β€’ Avoid reacting to rumours
β€’ Avoid selling good companies
β€’ Avoid buying what you don't know
β€’ Avoid behaving badly during tough times

We'll do really good in the long-term

With an increase in income, if our 1st preference is to:

β€’ Buy good quality businesses
β€’ Increase monthly SIP amount
β€’ Continue driving the same vehicle
β€’ Buy other fruitful financial or physical assets

We are on our way to become financially independent.

A THREAD on some insightful thoughts about investment by Vivek Sir (@Vivek_Investor):

Prediction is overrated, preparation is underrated.

Focus on continuous improvement, not on competition.

When the market recovered quality stocks recovered first.

When the economy recovered quality businesses recovered first.

A THREAD on insightful thoughts on saving and investing by The MF Guy (@TheMFGuy1):

Boring is exciting when it comes to investing.

We live in a strange world where car insurance is compulsory, health and life insurance are not.

People invest in real estate and wait for years just to get possession, forget about exiting and booking profits.

Why are we so impatient with equities?
