Too many people don't quite get what all of the Redfall discussion is about.

This is not about Redfall running at 30 FPS as an isolated decision; comparisons to Starfield at 30 FPS won't apply. While disappointing on its own, the real problem is rather about how we got here.
Problem a) Redfall will de facto launch in an unfinished state.

The 60 FPS mode is officially announced, the studio clearly had the intention to have both modes available on day one, even suggested by using the terms "Quality/Performance" modes and Xbox Store feature listings.
This problem is in particular significant as Xbox acquired studios and Bethesda on the premise to allow these teams to create the best games possible; to build an industry-leading first-party organisation. Xbox, in general, is on a good path here, but this is a step backwards.

Opinion: Microsoft needs to care to not make Xbox console owners look like second-class citizens right now. Redfall not supporting 60 FPS at launch after being shown running at that frame rate in basically every gameplay trailer is just the icing on the cake. An analysis.
Xbox has been open about expanding to PC and Mobile for years. PC Game Pass in particular is seeing a large push. MS even develops first-party games skipping console at launch (Flight Sim, Age of Empires, Ara: History Untold) for a premier PC experience, leaving console behind.
The ABK acquisition openly also isn't that much about the console business itself. Microsoft is in particular interested in King to expand to mobile; and Blizzard to allow further growth on PC. That's totally understandable as long as your core fanbase has a great experience.

Earlier this week, Arkane Studios released the likely best trailer for Redfall so far, including new singleplayer gameplay. An Xbox exclusive by a beloved studio, the first original game by Bethesda under Xbox.

You missed this one? Well, you are likely not alone. An analysis.
The Redfall Twitter handle shadow dropped the new trailer at 07am PT. And while you would think Xbox would make all their first-party stuff count in times where they have almost no releases; nothing. No Xbox Social Media Presence (Twitter, Instagram, Xbox Wire etc.), no synergy.
In marketing, these "moments" are usually called "beats". When you publish new information, you only have one moment to land that new thing; info, trailer, release date etc. If you don't coordinate well, your "beat" will not get much attention -- in this case under 80,000 views.

I’ve finished the Halo Infinite story. The team at 343 delivered an epic and polished campaign with incredible cinematography, supported by a musical experience and story that will give you goosebumps. It’s a fun, tight campaign especially Halo fans will fall in love with.
The cinematography used in the game is by far the best in the franchise. The plot is told in creative ways, with great camera work, transitions and in-game cutscenes. The play between Chief, The Weapon & The Pilot is a peak point of Halo storytelling.
The open area of Zeta Halo acts more like a hub world that connects many linear, more traditional Halo missions. It works really well, and while I wish Zeta Halo would feel a bit more alive, the structure of the game combines the best parts of what Halo is known for.
