I think there is a typo in your story. The tax rate for 30% goes up to 90K.
This is not an economic budget but political bullshit. Say you are a fulltime worker at an hourly rate of $18.90 gets just $8.08pw ($420 pa) tax benefit under this scheme.

If you are on $64G pa you get 46.54 PW which is $2420 pa. It even gets better if you are on 100K. You get a benefit of $58.08 pw or 3020 pa. This is again helping their rich buddies.
If allow the low-income earner to keep more of his money they will spend it & it will stimulate the economy than giving huge tax cuts to rick. How is that no one wants to give a $10000 tax-free income & keep the tax rates as it is? It will everyone $2019 pw or $1050 a year.
Did they say anything about GST? That is how they screwed us last time. This time it is going up to 20% under national. How else will they balance the books? You want to vote National be prepared to be buggered without soap.
