In Fahrenheit 451 – Ray Bradbury's classic dystopian novel – the main character, Montag, is a fireman. In this future world, firemen don't put out fires – they start them. Books are the primary target, on account of their ability to communicate ideas.
Short THREAD. 1/5
Ideas are dynamite. Ideas can explode nations and topple rulers. But when an idea becomes total, when it insulates itself from criticism, when it treats the questioner as a blasphemer – a "thisist" or a "thatophobe" – it is all the more necessary to confront that idea. 2/5
The weak idea requires a legion of draconian footsoldiers to police and patrol its borders.
The strong idea needs no army or Praetorian guard.
All it needs is someone willing to speak it – regardless of the consequences.
3/5
In Fahrenheit 451, the exiles of the book-burning dystopia carry the torch of knowledge by memorising classic works word for word. They then burn the books themselves, so as to evade the hounds, the despots, and the cultural philistines. 4/5
They can burn books but they can't burn songs.
End. 5/5

I spent my birthday yesterday traipsing about the streets of London recording the events of Remembrance Day and the Palestine March. I witnessed many proceedings first hand.
THREAD. 1.
At 10am, a march organised by Tommy Robinson set off from Embankment by the river Thames. An assorted throng of former-EDL types and "Football Lads" among others made their way through Trafalgar Square towards Whitehall in central London. 2.
The sun was out and the weather was crisp and chilly. People streamed through the barricades. There was a heavy police presence, some of them sat atop these beautiful horses. 3.
1. If ever there were an insane belief that clearly signals that a person has been corrupted by power and propaganda it would be the belief that sex isn't binary.
2. It’s always funny to read how a bunch of mums have been "radicalised" whilst a bunch of men who are deluded and think they're women and who have chopped off their genitals and flooded their body with synthetic estrogen are considered completely rational and level-headed.
3. 12 years ago, girls on Tumblr tried to turn their anorexia into an identity movement – "pro-ana." It was peddled as "a lifestyle choice." Tumblr shut it down in 2012 for promoting self-harm. The trans movement has similar neurotic roots, is more extreme, and is cheered.
In recent years, a peculiar ideology born on the left fused itself with established power. It picked up the name of ‘Wokeism.’ The word woke was snatched from the cultural ether and affixed to a set of beliefs and behaviours, to an ideology that as of yet had no name. THREAD. 1.
Some saw it as a mere software upgrade of the old ‘political correctness’ program which had been installed in the minds of all those who regarded themselves as the good and the just; but it was clearly something more.
2.
It was distinct from Generation X’s brand of leftism that the Unabomber described in his manifesto. The impact of technology had accelerated the psychological trends he outlined, ramping them up now to next-level extremity.

Three of our songs have been axed by the music distribution company @DistroKid. This means that they are no longer on Spotify, Apple Music, or any other streaming platform. DistroKid provided no warning, no email, no notification. A few listeners DM’d me to let me know. THREAD
1.
I reached out to @DistroKid. Someone called ‘Marceline’ said that my song ‘contains hate speech.’ What a surprise. I asked Marceline to specify the exact instance of so-called ‘hate speech’ in the song. They were unable to clarify this. I received only a rote response. 2.
Boys Will Be Girls was the first to be terminated by @DistroKid. Two days later, they deleted Clownfish, a song that reports the facts about child transition. Then I discovered they have axed Problematic, the song about Wokeism. In short: blanket deletion of every release. 3.
A trans activist YouTuber with a 930K subscriber base shared my song in a reaction video. In it, I am accused of focussing solely on transwomen, and not transmen. A gauntlet is thrown down: “How about you say the same points, but to me. What makes me not a man?” 1.
The first and most obvious difference between you and I and the reason you are not a man is that you require synthetic drugs to sustain the simulation that you are a man. Your voice, that facial hair, none of it is naturally induced.
2.
I do not need drugs to have a deep voice or facial hair, my body naturally facilitates it. Yours doesn’t. You have no acquaintance with the flood of natural testosterone during puberty, how it affects behaviour, how a male's life is moulded by it.
3.
The mental health of "trans" people is in 'crisis' not because The Guardian has somehow morphed into The Daily Stormer, as the idiot below would have it. It's in crisis because they operate in a false framework, under false beliefs, under ideas that have no basis in reality. 1.
They were told by influencers on Tumblr, YouTube, and Reddit that they could become something they are not. They were misled, misguided, bewitched and hoodwinked with nuclear levels of online propaganda. They were lied to by cultist doctors and perfidious clinicians.
2.
They were absorbed into online cult spheres that bullied them into an ideological system that is counter to every basic fact of sexual and psychological evolution. Tens of thousands sought drugs and surgeries to bring these delusions to fruition. Impossible.
