Just two months ago today, the Feds broke my hand and beat me up...for no reason whatsoever.

I'm fucking entitled to my anger.

Anyone want to dispute that?

Losing followers is the least of my concerns.

If you don't like my words or pictures, just leave.

Don't announce it as if I would care.

I don't.
So, no more DMs or tweets questioning my mental health on any given day.

Okay?

None of y'all truly know me.

No matter how much personal shit I spill in front 60K+ followers.
The fact that you might follow me, is not any kind of leverage in my world.

Don't try to blackmail me with it.

I'll just block you.

I bumped into a Cybertruck yesterday and I wanted to share some thoughts and pictures with you.

A thread.🧵 Image
First off, the ass end of this thing just looks like a boring and uninteresting wall of stainless steel.

There are no compelling design features here to break the monotony.

Just a blank panel of metal.

Plus the tonneau cover and black plastic trim collect dust like crazy. Image
Moving to the front, we can see how well that monster wiper blade actually clears the front windshield.

The mud and dust on the glass gives a pretty good sense of that.

And that's not even addressing the recall for every single wiper motor installed on over 11k Cybertrucks. Image

Elon Musk is super duper angry at @Apple right now.

Why?

Because Apple and OpenAI agreed yesterday to use/integrate Open AI's ChapGPT AI product in their iOS ecosystem.

This has screwed over Elon's side hustle xAI, right after raising $6 billion in equity.

A thread. 🧵
And it comes right before xAI could even launch a product. 😆

AND on the heels of Elon diverting 1,000s of Nvidia's H100 chips from Tesla to xAI, for which he took tremendous heat because he violated his fiduciary responsibilities. 😬

So how does it screw xAI?
Let's look at Google first.

They have invested billions of $ in AI and have a platform to deploy it on: Android.

It's on a bazillion smartphones, including the one I'm using now.

So Google has an AI product, and an OS/platform to distribute it on.

Next, Microsoft...

As some folks have seen recently, Musk is making it harder and harder to block and mute trolls.

Even now when you block someone, they can still see all your tweets, just not your profile, and they can't interact with them.

This is in preparation for something very specific.
Elon is laying the groundwork for a massive disinformation campaign here at Twitter in order to influence the 2024 election in Donald Trump's favor.

There are many reasons why he's doing it, but the biggest one is this:

He doesn't want to go to prison.
He is currently under multiple investigations, and he probably expects many more to come.

Mainly for insider trading and fraud.

He needs Trump to win and squash all of them for him.

So he's putting his thumb on the scale for Trump.

SpaceX attempted to launch another Starship on a suborbital flight yesterday, and like the first one seven months earlier, it blew up again.

This would be a good time to talk about using rapid iterative development in the aerospace industry.

A thread. 🧵 Image
The idea of rapidly developing prototypes, testing them to failure, and then developing a new one based on what was learned is not a new one.

Each time you iterate, things improve.

It's used in many industries and it's a very effective way of getting new products to market.
But should this be used in the aerospace industry?

Maybe.

It might be appropriate in some areas, especially at the very beginning of development.

But it's also a very risky strategy when we're talking about doing it with something as colossal as Starship and its heavy booster.

SpaceX is scheduled to attempt another Starship launch again tomorrow morning (Saturday) at 8am EDT from their facility in Boca Chica, Texas.

Here are my thoughts and predictions.

A thread 🧵
The first launch attempt occured on 4/20 of this year, and resulted in massive damage to their launchpad, as well as the ultimate destruction of the rocket itself.

Here's my thread about it.
For tomorrow, much has changed from the first attempt.

For one, a steel plate with a water deluge system has been installed underneath the pad, and the entire mission profile of the rocket flight has been adjusted to increase the likelihood of success.

So will it work?

Anybody want to talk about this movie? Image
Starring a young and perky pre "Sex and the City" Kim Cattrall. Image
As well as Kurt Russell sporting a colorful wife-beater and wearing a vibrant shade of red lipstick. Image
