First of all, for those who have only recently followed, Aki is an original character of mine I've been drawing for a few years, and I guess the clearest image example of her is this render:

Here's a better rough set of reference images.

She's an android (well, more specifically, a gynoid, as "android" tends to refer to more masculine human-like robots), designed to resemble a young woman of an ambiguous age, particularly between the ages of 19-29.

She is an individual instance of a specific model of robot, but I'm not too sure on what the specifics should be (as she is meant to be one-of-a-kind, but that wouldn't make sense.

However, each instance is unique, fully sentient, and has their unique personality randomly decided and generated by an algorithmic machine. Said "personality" is basically a set of data that determines how the robot talks, whether they like certain things, etc.

Aki is a curious yet shy robot who wishes to explore and understand the artificial humanity she has been programmed with. As she is only an artificial intelligence, she cannot understand or express complex emotions, only simple ones.

Her voice is a mixture of a more organic, relatively higher-pitched female voice with computer reverb, as well as an undertone of a text-to-speech voice.

Her favourite colour is a shade of blue-magenta, the same as the colour of her main shirt. The specific hex code is #AAAADC. A lot of her wardrobe features a purple palette, in both light and dark shades. (I haven't drawn much of said wardrobe, so I cannot show it.)

For easy maintainence, Aki's physical design consists of hollow reinforced plastic shells surrounding wires and a metal interior skeleton. The torso's interior, as well as the same sort of stuff, contains similar components to a standard PC.

Her limbs can be removed to easily replace them with functioning ones, or for other uses (such as reaching higher shelves).
Her exterior's nature makes her look much alike a doll or mannequin to others, though not in the uncanny valley.

The image below shows where these joins are (as well as what Aki's swimwear looks like). As well as these, standard joints exist.

Aki's face is made of silicone and cannot be removed. Her eyes are screens with cameras behind them, and the mouth has simplistic teeth inside for facial expression (as well as a speaker).

Her rosy cheeks are light-up to signify some expressions (such as surprise or embarrassment), and always have at least a faint glow as an accent of her relatively cheery (even if shy) demeanor.

The eyelashes are applied at manufacture.

Her hair is composed of artificial, plastic-like fibres in the form of a permanently-applied wig. The hairstyle can be changed, however, and Aki likes to sometimes wear it in just a singular ponytail or down long, but usually in twintails.

Aki is splash-proof, but not water proof. If she wants to go to the beach, she has to stay on the sand (which she says isn't a problem, mind you). She doesn't frequent swimming pools, as getting splashed in the wrong area could be a big problem.

If she has to expose herself to large amounts of water (particularly her upper torso, which has a ventilation grille as well as USB ports, SD cards, charger ports, and easy maintenance access), she wears a clear waterproof "skin" around vulerable areas.

That's all I can think of for now, will probably add to this thread tomorrow if I have more ideas.
