It’s been 2 weeks since
@Charles_SEO and I released Local Kingdom 🐺

It's been a great success. As you will see below.

The success can be attributed to our partnership

I'm going to show you how this partnership started

And how YOU can do the same!

THREAD Image
Charles is really popular in the SEO world:

- Worth a million plus by 24 years old
- Successful companies
- Large audience
- Speaker

Not a bad partner to have, right?

Check his profile to see for yourself!

@Charles_SEO Image
So Charles and I partnered up on:

Local Kingdom: Rule The Pack 🐺

An eBook about making money in Local SEO...

Arguably the easiest SEO vertical.

The book has been a hit and we’re approaching 100 sales after the first fortnight Image
Great!

But how do YOU accelerate your ascent with a great partnership?

... And no, you don’t need to be an “expert”

When I worked with Bold & Determined, I was 20 and still green in business.

@Moneybaglives did the same and was relatively green, too.

So here’s how you do it: Image
#1 - Identify The Right People.

First, identify who would be fruitful for YOU to be in business with.

Perhaps they’re in your industry, or an industry you want to join.

It's not hard to identify successful people worth working with.

Who are these people for you?
#2 - Get Known.

I was vaguely aware of Charles - but he had no idea who I was.

So I:

- Started engaging him on Twitter
- Showed my Local SEO expertise

We then met here in Chiang Mai...

Closing proximity & meeting people face to face > Image
#3 - Be Valuable.

After meeting Charles, I bought his book, wrote a review & affiliated for it.

I COULD have read it, used the info & moved on with my life.

Instead, I went out of my way to write a review to help Charles’ credibility & potential buyers:
In the case of Bold & Determined, I had to complete a writing task to work with him.

I took the challenge... And failed.

But that didn’t stop me.

I asked for more work.

I showed my value simply by persevering.

I proved I’m someone who is resilient & doesn’t quit.
#4 - Be Credible.

A few weeks after meeting Charles, I announced the launch of my free eBook - and launched it a week later.

Charles read the book and liked it.

He then knew:

- I do what I say I will do
- I can start and finish a project

(MANY can’t)

gum.co/GpdXE
#5 - Overdeliver.

With Charles, I overdelivered through:

- The book review(s)
- Clear willingness to help
- Any interactions with him

With Bold & Determined, I worked relentlessly for an entire month for £0.

I didn't have much more to give B&D other than my time and effort.
When you get the chance to work with someone who can accelerate your position, OVERDELIVER.

Don't let them down.

When we decided to start Local Kingdom, I dedicated as much time to it as possible.

I made it the best thing I've created in my life. Image
#6 - Keep Overdelivering.

Now that Local Kingdom is finished, Charles and I are already working on the updated version.

We're taking the book to the next level.

We're even bringing in specialists like
@SearchForRyan to feature and bring even more value to the book.
⚠️ Where most slip up ⚠️

Most fail with #3: Be Valuable

@GrantCardone said it best:

“Push power to power.”

By helping someone doing better than you, they ascend & can pull you up with them.

There’s 0% chance someone in a strong position will help you - unless you help them.
We are all inherently selfish.

You want the best for you

Cool. Snap.

So REALISE

Help others

THEN.

And ONLY THEN

They will help you!

This is sales 101...

Give to get.
That's it for now.

Now you know how to form excellent partnerships.

... Who'll be your next partner?

And if you're intrigued what Local Kingdom is, you can read all about it below!

1. Aged Domains:

New domains take time to get results

Too much time.

> Find clients you can get quick wins:

- Near page 1 already
- Unoptimised
- Aged domain
- Good brand
- Good niche

(But are good LONG term clients too)
2. Cloaked Reviews:

Google reviews influence ranking

And they sell potential customers

> Get fake reviews.

Google detects if an account is real/fake

Get reviews from real Google accounts

E.g. friends/family

Google will not know the review is fake. Image

£3k/mo contracts sound sexy

But there’s endless people paying £100-£1k/month just for:

- Basic website
- Hosting
- “Support”
- bit of google ads

Most are getting a bad service...

So, create a better offer

Running website = truly embedded in company + secure client for years.
Used to call 50-100 local biz’s a day

Selling my services

Tons of my clients were in the same boat

Monthly payments to a company like Yell

But no continuous benefits

Steal these clients from MFers like Yell in 2021

Low effort, good LTV, easy to help etc.
Just had this msg in

Great local tradesman who I poached from Yell

He was paying tons per month for low amount of leads

I re-did his website

Got him top for his KWs

Smashed his GMB

Now it’s basically hands off

Low effort for me, consistent lead generation for him Image

Selling Local SEO to Yell customers works well

They’re familiar with:

- Paying monthly
- Getting nothing
- An impersonal service

I called thousands of these guys.

Many are unhappy.

👇🏻
I have ex-Yell clients

Yell do us a favor by priming local customers to pay monthly

Yet they deliver nothing, usually.

This allows us to swoop in and outperform Yell in every way:

- Results
- Communication
- Real relationship
- Bespoke approach
The problem we face?

Yell customers get bombarded a LOT

In order to win their business, you’ll need to:

1. Be different
2. Followup a lot
3. Have a great offer
4. Fix their problems

Let me explain these four points...

When making a local lead gen website, avoid trying to rank for everything.

Most niches have enough services/sub-niches to rank for anyway

No need to make a monster website like property management that tries to rank for roofing, carpentry, flooring etc.

Roofing ALONE has:

👇🏻
- Repairs
- Replacements
- Fascia & Soffit
- Commercial
- Thatched
- Garage
- Guttering
- Chimney
- Bespoke
- Solar
- Flat
- Maintenance

Tons to do in this niche alone, let alone trying to turn this into a huge property management website

You also end up diluting your relevance
Better to stick with one decent niche bros

Or, pick a niche which is closely related to other niches, therefore not diluting relevance.

For example, these niches crossover well:

- Carpentry
- Joinery
- Sash windows

All are woodwork, but slightly different...

Easy & Safe Local Links 🐺

In 3 Steps:

#1: Get high ranking websites in the same locale or niche

This can be client websites, your own websites or a mixture.

Send links between these sites.

Doing this grants you links that have:

👇🏻
Trust: Because the sites rank high & get traffic

Relevance: Because they are in the same locale & or niche

Power: Our sites will have SOME power

These three link strength factors were covered in the @mattdiggityseo linking YouTube video released today:

We likely don’t gain a LOT of link "power" compared to large affiliate sites.

... But enough power to add decent value in easy-medium difficulty local niches.

Easy niches especially have weak linking profiles, because competitors are rarely investing into their SEO strategy.
