The British Fascisti was founded in 1923 by Miss Rotha Lintorn-Orman and included many suffragettes. It was though more like a really militant wing of the Tories than a doctrinally fascist party. Stopping Labour was their goal more than changing the UK 🇬🇧. ImageImageImageImage
Because their focus was on what they opposed rather than what they were for, the British Fascisti did not last long and splintered into other groups and was eventually surpassed by the British Union of Fascists. Lintorn-Orman btw detested Mosley as he wasn’t a conservative. 🇬🇧 ImageImageImageImage

English Mistery 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴was founded in 1933 by William Sanderson of the Imperial Fascist League. It was ultra-royalist, illiberal and anti-democratic, advocating for an aristocratic revival and essentially the restoration of feudalism. Not a party but cultural/spiritual movement. Image

Few Confederate generals are as famous today as James Longstreet. In his own time, he never quite had top tier status as far as fame & glory went but had a more solid record than some who did. Yet, after the war, he became positively despised by many of his countrymen.👇🏻 Image
A native of South Carolina, Longstreet was of Dutch ancestry & was raised by relatives in Georgia.
He joined the U.S. Army & served with distinction in the Mexican-American War. His political views were not especially strong but his commitment to defending the south was. 👇🏻 Image
Casting his lot with the southern Confederacy, he led a brigade at the 1st Battle of Manassas & after was promoted to Major General & given a division. He led them to success at Williamsburg but fumbled at Seven Pines.
Nonetheless, when General Robert E. Lee took command... 👇🏻 Image

Most are unaware of Italy’s history as a pioneer in the development of nuclear weapons. The Kingdom of Italy led the world in nuclear research during the Fascist Era, producing the first patented nuclear reactor. The ‘Via Panisperna boys’ led by Enrico Fermi and …(cont)👉🏻 Image

Heinrich Luitpold Himmler was one of the most prominent & powerful men in NS Germany. He was not initially very important but over time rose to become the leader of the SS, the police & all internal security forces. He was regarded as one of the two people AH trusted most. 👇🏻 Image
Himmler grew up in a very conservative, Catholic family. Prince Heinrich of Bavaria was his godfather. In 1918 he joined the army but the war ended before he ever saw action. He studied agriculture at university & joined the right-wing Imperial War Flag Society. 👇🏻 Image
The Bund Reichskriegsflagge was led by Ernst Röhm who had prompted Himmler to join. He became increasingly political as well as fascinated by German myths, folklore & medieval history. In 1923 he joined the NSDAP & Rohm's society was merged with the party. 👇🏻 Image
