"And We gave him (Isa A.S) the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous."
(Qur'an. Al-Maaida 5: Verse 46)
@Hadithoftheday Allah mentions "Injeel" in another verse of Qur'an:
Allah says,
Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed [them] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel - Qur'an ( 57:27)
@Hadithoftheday Allah sent down the Gospel to Isaa ibn Maryam A.S, but some distortions were introduced into it with the passage of time.
@Hadithoftheday Torah and Gospel were subjected to distortion and changes. Allah says in Qur'an:
“Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say, "This is from Allah," to purchase with it a little price! Woe to them for what their hands have written
[al-Baqarah 2:79].
@Hadithoftheday Because of this distortion and the mixing of truth with falsehood in these Scriptures, it is prohibited to study them.
Prophet ﷺ saw a page of the Torah in the hand of ‘Umar R.A. He said: “If Moosa A.S were alive, and you were to follow him and leave me, you would go astray.”
@Hadithoftheday According to another version: The face of the Prophet ﷺ changed when ‘Umar R.A showed that (Pages of Torah) to him, and one of the Ansaar said to him: O son of al-Khattaab, do you not see the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? +
@Hadithoftheday ‘Umar R.A said: I am content with Allah as my Lord, Islam is my religion, and Muhammad as my Prophet.
Hence the Sahaabah forbade the study of any book other than the Qur’an.

The 9th day of Dhul-Hijjah is the Day of Arafah. Arafah was the day on which Allah perfected His religion, completed His favours upon His beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, & approved Islam as a way of life
There is no other day like it (Arafah) in the whole year.
The Prophet ﷺ said, 'There is no day on which Allah frees people from the Fire more so than on the Day of ‘Arafah. Indeed, He draws near and then boasts of them to the angels then says, “What do these want?“' [Muslim]
It is when the religion of Islam was perfected.
Allah says in Qur'an:
Today I have perfected for you your religion and completed upon you My blessing and I have chosen for you Islam as [your] religion” (5:3)
This verse was revealed on the day of Arafah.

She was the first wife of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . She was one of famous businesswomen in Arabia that time.
She was also among those who had the glad tidings of Paradise.
@Hadithoftheday Two angels were shading the Prophet ﷺ when the heat of the sun grew too intense.
When the Prophet ﷺ came to the city of Busra in Syria, he stopped in the shade of a tree, and one of the monks said to Maysarah, “No one ever stops under the shade of this tree but a Prophet.”

“Verily, We did send down the Torah [to Musa], therein was guidance and light, by which the Prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah’s Will, judged the Jews” (Quran, 5:44)
