2/ The attacks come from the Zakat Foundation of India (ZFI). We don’t know Sudarshan News, and have never spoken with them before. So I won’t address their original claims; but it’s worth rebutting the disinformation put out by ZFI in its response.
3/ Claim: *Al-Medina Trust is a “miniscule” charity that “only helps the poor and needy.”* No, this UK charity that is funding ZFI has almost £2 million (well over 18 crore) in the bank. Here are its most recent accounts, filed with UK Charity Commission docdro.id/GJ1Wl8f
4/ In fact, Medina Trust is a serious Jamaat-e-Islami charity. It shares trustees with terror-tied Muslim Aid (which works with Al Khidmat, the Hizbul Mujahideen-tied ‘charitable arm’ of Jamaat in Pakistan) as well as Islamic Foundation, the main Jamaati thinktank in Europe.
5/ Medina Trust trustees include Farooq Murad, son of Khurram Murad, who led both Bangladeshi and Pakistani branches of JI; Manazir Ahsan, who helped coordinate Islamist riots in the UK against novelist Salman Rushdie; ...
6/ ... and Khurshid Ahmad, a senior Pakistani JI leader who has described the Taliban as “refulgent and splendid” and has written about the “implication of Europe’s being in the clasp of Jews.” standforpeace.org.uk/four-ways-to-f…
7/ Claim: *Muslim Aid would have been banned in the UK were it a terrorist organization.* No. Weak UK govt has long refused to ban terror-tied charities, preferring instead to chastise publicly and then offer ‘guidance’ to help charities get back on track.
8/ e.g. Interpal is a designated terrorist organization in the U.S. and elsewhere, because of its open support for Hamas. And yet it remains a registered charity in the UK.
9/ Also worth pointing out that Muslim Aid doesn’t deny terrorist links. It has admitted to funding charities tied to terror in the past. See our original article: meforum.org/61439/india-mu…
10/ Claim: *ZFI’s Jafer Qureshi resigned from Zakir Naik’s companies after he “came to know that Govt of India had censured the man.”* More deliberate disinformation. In fact:
11/ The Al Fouz Trust, of which Qureshi is chairman, is today registered to the *same address* as Zakir Naik’s companies’ currently registered addresses. beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/067804…
12/ The founder of Al Fouz Trust, Mustasam Abbasi (who still claims to be involved the charity) also currently describes himself as a ‘director’ of Zakir Naik’s Peace TV. linkedin.com/in/mustasam-ab…
13/ Qureshi himself still claims to remain a member of the board of trustees of Zakir Naik's Peace TV in his Al Fouz Trust bio. alfouztrust.org.uk/governance.php
13/ Finally, denouncing us for “Islamophobia” is inane. Far too often, it’s used by Islamists to suppress criticism of their extremism. See discussion in my recent NPR interview: meforum.org/61473/sam-west…
Moreover, this is not a tangible counterpoint to concrete accusations.
14/ That said, anti-Muslim hatred and violence is of course real, and sometimes deadly. In fact, reformist Muslims are our most important ally. As the @meforum has always said: radical Islam is the problem, moderate Islam is the solution.

1/ A new investigation into Hamas' network in U.S. uncovers 17+ Islamist registered charities' subsidy of terror, & their fundraising of over $250 million through the 501(c) system, funded by dozens of major donors from Bill Gates Foundation to JPMorgan, Shell, Paypal and others.
2/ Some examples. Take Rahma Worldwide in Michigan, which openly partners with designated Kuwaiti terrorist group RIHS (how has the FBI not noticed this?) and is part of their "Uprising in Palestine" campaign in Gaza.
3) The Reach Education Fund in Illinois, whose leading official glorifies Nazism, posting a swastika and referring to himself as a follower of Hitler, celebrating the genocide of Jews
For the past few decades, Islamists in the West have literally embraced senior leaders of Hamas in Gaza who openly call for genocide, and are responsible for this latest massacre in Israel. Here are a few examples:
2/ Qatar Foundation official Haya Al-Nassr with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. The Qatar Foundation is a huge provide of educational services to K-12 schools and colleges across the United States
3/ Anwar Ibrahim, chairman of the IIIT in Virginia (and also now the Malaysian prime minister, meeting with Haniyeh, and tooks calls from Hamas upon his election. IIIT is part of the SAAR network, a collection of terror financing pro-Hamas entities in the United States.
2/ From Andrew Tate converting to Islam, to GOP congressmen seemingly donating money to terror financing Islamist charities, and Republicans praising radical imams in Dearborn for opposing “LGBTQ” teachings in schools, across the West, a fundamental shift is occurring.
3/ Muslim Americans used to be a key demographic for the American Right. Folks such as Sami Al Arian even claimed to have won the 2000 election for Bush, thanks to Arian’s tireless campaigning in Florida mosques (and before his conviction for terror finance activities).
1/ Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader Yasin Malik has pleaded guilty to terrorism charges in an Indian court. Among his biggest champions are an assortment of Islamists in the West.
2/ Despite the murder and terrorism charges leveled against its senior officials, JKLF is not a designated organization in the U.K. or U.S. In fact, JKLF was founded in Britain, and today maintains active chapters in multiple Western countries.
3/ On May 9, just a day before Malik pleaded guilty, the North American chapter of JKLF organized a conference in New York, attended by representatives of major Pakistani regime political parties, including the PTI and PML-N.
1/ There's a slight over-focus on CAIR going on in right-wing media, with many noting their advocacy for Aafia Siddiqui. CAIR is a dangerous Islamist group, no doubt. But important to identify the real forces behind Aafia support network:
2/ I looked into the late hostage taker, who seemingly attended Masjid-e-Irfan in Blackburn. UK. This is a Deobandi mosque. Aafia Siddiqui is Deobandi. (Terrorist movements such as the Taliban, which advocate for Aafia as well, are Deobandi).
3/ This is a South Asian Islamist issue. It is the Pakistani regime's official policy to secure the release of Aafia Siddqui, with Pakistani leaders describing her as the 'daughter of the nation'.
1/ Re the hostage situation in Texas, I wrote an in-depth piece for @NRO on the Aafia Siddiqui support network just a few months ago. If it is indeed Aafia's brother, a synagogue is a natural target for that family. meforum.org/62644/american…
2/ Aafia famously demanded Jews be excluded from the jury at her trial. And the network of Islamists who advocate for Aafia, as well as their Pakistani backers, have long claimed a Jewish conspiracy lies at the heart of Aafia's plight.
3/ Her supporters range from the Pakistani regime, deported PIJ terrorist Sami Al-Arian (and his network of 501cs), and the unashamedly hateful, pro-Taliban Aafia Foundation; all mixed with general support found across Salafi, Deobandi and Jamaati networks across the U.S.
