1)My nephew was sent home from school and told to isolate. My sister and brother in law been trying to get home a test. They live in Portland, nearest test site identified on website was Southampton but no tests available. #TestingShambles
2) They kept trying for 4 days but could not book a test. Sometimes online for 4 hours at a time. Putting in all the details only to get a website error message #TestingShambles
3) On Monday my brother in law noticed a testing site in Weymouth, so drove in. 3 fully masked up staff in an empty site. He asked them why? They said no one had booked tests. He asked how long they had been there and they said two months. He said they didn’t appear on website
4) #TestingShambles the young man said they were desperate to do tests but had been told by their bosses they could not do tests without a barcode. My B i L said it wasn’t possible to get a barcode. They said they were very frustrated
#TestingShambles My B i L then went home to try again to book a test. Same website error message. My sister drove back to the site and was told the same. So isolating nephew unable to get a test despite an empty test centre. This is Richard Drax’s constituency. Write to him

1) I haven't been on FB for a while but I just logged on and found this. I have to share for people to understand the anguish caused by this selfish bastard Tory Government to my dear friend who lost her 13 year old son last year. These are her words @BorisJohnson@mrjamesob
2) From Emma 'Please feel free to share. Or tag BoJo, or number 10 or whatever. My eye’s been off the ball due to trying (and sadly failing) to keep my kid alive for the past couple of years.
Aahhh the day number 10 were having their party, bless."'
3) 'His brother Stan, 14 at the time, wasn’t permitted to take a step onto the ward, at all ever. For most of Dec his interaction with his brother was well-timed him ‘happening to be in a corridor’ whilst Frank was being wheeled down for a scan or yet more emergency surgery.
1)I want to talk about contact tracing and why it isn’t working. This is just my personal view, but I am sure it’s not an isolated example (excuse the unintentional pun). On Friday 13 members of my family met in my sister’s garden. Two of them visited my dad, so that’s 14.
2) Around 8pm my youngest son (age 20) did a positive Lateral flow test and we all did negative ones. Over the next couple of hours he did 3 more positives. It was too late to get him a PCR. We were camping outside (not my 88 year old dad obviously- he was at his flat)
3) Saturday am, all negative apart from son, we all go to get PCR’s and head home (as we can’t stay at my sisters any longer in tents.) Son reports his positive LF. 8 of us have Serco app (the one called NHS Covid App) on our phone. No apps do anything! 2 hadn’t had phones on
Covid hasn’t gone away. Don’t kid yourself. My 20 year old son and 25 year old daughter have both tested positive.
Neither of them are vaccinated. They live in Bristol. They have both entered their details into the app. So far no close contacts have been alerted by the app.
Test and Trace is shit. I still haven’t been told to isolate despite being in close proximity to two of my children who have tested positive. Meanwhile daughter’s boss been told to. Daughter did negative PCR on Wednesday and hasn’t been into work since and positive test Sunday
1) How mad is this? my husband is highly vulnerable and been shielding since March. Other than moving house from Monmouth to Ceredigion hardly been out. Not been in any building not our home. He takes anti rejection medicine following a kidney transplant in 2012.
2) Because we have moved we have changed health authority. First thing we did on arrival was register remotely for new GP and start request for repeat prescription of his medication. His old specialist wrote to GP. GP referred him to new specialist in Swansea.
3) Historically he has blood test and blood pressure by District Nurse and during lockdown a telephone consultation with Specialists or a repeat prescription issued. New specialist wants him to go into the hospital before he will prescribe the anti-rejection medicine.
There’s something really odd going on with testing and I wish a journalist would look into it @guardian. Why are there no tests available? Why are people being sent 100’s of miles. Why are there test centres not showing on the website?
I just keep hearing odd things. Three walk in test centres in Bristol not showing up on the website. The website showing no home tests available and not possible to book a test. But walk to the test site and you get a test
Someone else mentioned the large facility by Chessington being underused but website saying no tests available
