Officers/HNT responding to the 2500 block of 4th Ave following a stabbing at an apartment building. At this time, one person reported injured. Officers in contact with the suspect inside the building. More information as it becomes available.
Update: Officers still working to locate/contact the suspect. Will be shutting down roads in the area as police investigate.
UPDATE: Two victims with life-threatening injuries. Suspect is barricaded in an apartment. Negotiators attempting to make contact with the suspect. Some evacuations in the building.
Update/Correction: One victim has serious injuries, one has life-threatening injuries. Officers and negotiators still on scene working to resolve this incident.
Officers/negotiators continue to work to get armed suspect to surrender. Incident is still ongoing.
The suspect has been safely taken into custody. Officers will book her into King County Jail for investigation of assault. We will reopen the roads soon. Thanks for your patience as we worked to bring this to a peaceful resolution.

Police are monitoring a group marching in the downtown area. Participants are dragging construction signs and other items into the roadway to block traffic. Multiple arrests made in 200 block of Columbia Street.
Arrests at 200 block Cherry Street were made for crimes including assault on an officer, obstruction, pedestrian interference and resisting arrest. Group is currently near #PikePlaceMarket. Please stay out of the area.
Members of the group broke multiple windows and vandalized a business at 2nd Ave and Lenora Street.
Police have begun providing dispersal orders so that @SeattleParks can clean and conduct maintenance inside Cal Anderson park. Please leave the area.

The group is now Westbound on Pike St from Harvard.
The protest is entering Downtown via Northbound Boren passing Olive. Traffic is still blocked in the area.
