Spring Vale Cemetery railway branched from the Dandenong line just past (down) Spring Vale station. Was ~ 1.2 miles (1.9 km) in length. Opened 1904 closed officially 1951. Sparked 1922.
Spring Vale was changed to Springvale 1955.

In June 1952 the line was dismantled. The Sandown Park racecourse and raceway now occupies part of the right
of way. A short section survived as a siding that branched off at the down end of the down line at Springvale.
