#RheaChakroborty
The matter is being heard by Justice Sarang Kotwal.

Adv Satish Maneshinde: Investigation is illegal for want of jurisdiction.

ASG: Copy of Petition not served to NCB

Maneshinde: We have served twice

#RheaChakroborty
Satish Maneshinde recounts that Rhea has been charged in the drugs case stating that she had procured drugs for consumption by Sushant Singh Rajput

All cases in relation to case re death of #SushantSinghRajput should be transferred to CBI, the SC has said: Maneshinde adds
Maneshinde: NCB has no jurisdiction to conduct this investigation

NCB case ought to have been transferred to CBI, he adds. Referring to the Supreme Court order, he asserts that SC has said any case relating to the case ought to be transferred to the CBI.

#RheaChakroborty
Maneshinde: If ASG wants to reply to the petition, he may choose to do so.

ASG: No service upon me. I will take a copy from my learned friend.

Maneshinde against reiterates that he has served copy.
ASG: I do not want to make an issue of the service
Maneshinde: NDPS is an Act under which CBI can investigate.

Section 27A should not be attracted (on merits of this case)

I will circulate compilation with all relevant orders and judgments to all.
Justice Kotwal: You may file a physical copy of the compilation bailable and non-bailable issues need to be addressed.
Maneshinde urges that he may be allowed to supply scanned copies since they are quite bulky.
Court remarks that the lawyers will have to appraise the Court on whether it is bailable or non-bailable offences charged, and whether Section 37 of NDPS Act will apply etc.
ASG Anil Singh: I will come on 29th with a clear stand on the bailability of the issue.

I have gone through all judgments (referred to by Maneshinde), but I need time to come to a stand
#BombayHighCourt says it will take up the bail applications filed by @Tweet2Rhea and Showik Chakraborty on September 29.

Justice Kotwal: On 29th, all the parties can start from the beginning. You will have to address the court on all the issues.

Supreme Court hears the plea by son of former parliamentarian Mohan Delkar and a complainant in the abetment to suicide case of his father, Abhinav Delkar assailing the Bombay High Court ruling to quash the FIR against nine accused including Praful Patel, administrator of Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Diu and Daman, and Lakshadweep 'to prevent abuse of law'

Sr Adv Meenakshi Arora appears for the petitionerImage
Arora: He says the deputy collector and the administrator misbehaved..

CJI: show us who.. where is it mentioned

Arora: I will show.. this is the humiliation.. it's there in his suicide note also
CJI: but can this humiliation be said to compel leading to suicide. If a lawyer is humiliated by judge saying your client has chosen an idiot person to represent him or that the lawyer is stupid and does not know anything..then after 3 days he commits suicide. Will the judge be held responsible under section 306 IPC. In Bombay HC I have quashed so many such cases.

SCBA President Vikas Singh addresses the ceremony
Vikas Singh: it’s a matter of privilege for me to do this for CJI Gavai. He was very reluctant to accept this function since he felt that a better occasion will be when he demits office and I speak about what he has done for the bar and for the institution rather than speak when he’s entering office.
