[Thread] I won't be silent anymore about the dangerous self-proclaimed leaders known as Black Unity PDX. Bare with me as I lay out a series of events that have occurred at protests. Many attacks on activists, residents & houseless folks were all related to the same group....
2) Early in #GeorgeFloyd protests the policing of protesters was intense, where members of the "Swoop Group" known as the Portland Protest Bureau, now @blackunitypdx would get physical with protesters for touching the fence, once threatening to shoot and calling one a fa**ot.
2a) Later same peace police was seen throwing a glass bottle at JC and asking people in blac bloc for their contact info. Later said he don't fuck with people in black, because to him they are cops. Later he stuck up for accused snitch, Mason Lake when exposed.
3)There were many occasions where scuffles and threats occurred. Many of the "Swoop" would exert control over protesters by weaponizing their skin color and claiming to be leaders since day one (none of which have ever been seen at a BLM protest in PDX prior to George Floyd).
4) Conflicts between the "swoop" and the crew that actually lead the first protests at ICE and in front of the JC on May 27th/28th became common. It boiled over until one man from "swoop" chased down my femme friend, putting hands on her and threatening to beat her ass, I....
5)...intervened by being a body in between saying to not put hands on her. He doubled down and said he'd beat any bitches ass. Noone from the swoop group had issue with this and actually supported it. This made me a target. This is where the large group of violent teens come in..
6)There were a large group of teens that had been jumping activist/houseless folks and residents regularly, sometimes in very violent ways and robbing people. A member of the "swoop" was overheard trying to get them to jump me (there is strong connection among "swoop" and teens)
7) Later I was leaving and Mason Lake (accused snitch) was filming my car as I drove away. I jumped out and was like "WTF, you shouldn't even be out here after you were exposed for being open to feed anonymous tips to cops." He denied claims, I told him we could talk about it,but
8) got defensive and with help of 2 @HalospaceMedia live streamers (Ryan&Jade)started making wild claims about me rolling with PB's, driving out of fed courthouse, that I said I don't care if people get tear gassed, and that I was on camera talking to LRAD (HA!). I left and when
9) I confronted them later, they doubled down, their crew made me out to be the problem for starting arguments, and then when Jade cried, they yelled about how I attacked a woman. My video was on phone taken by feds, but here is econ confronting Mason

10) I then tried to keep distance from group, because I legitimately felt I would get jumped. The swoop later accosted me again making false claims that I jumped people. I attempted to clear things up and let them know Mason was a snitch & can show you proof. Same dude that was..
11)gonna beat a femme, have teens jump me, was like "I don't give a fuck," and the swoop group backed him. Most of the internal conflicts amongst protesters "the swoop" was present. They constantly came to protests and tried to get the crowd to leave with them. One was filmed...
12) saying "All Lives Matter." Many came intoxicated to the point that they became a liability to other protesters. Later when I was arrested by the feds, one of their live streamers, Baloo, called me an informant because I was released in 2 hours. When I told him you don't make
13) claims like that, Black Unity crew said they don't give a fuck what I say. Moving forward, to the Keese Love kick to head situation. That whole altercation escalated when Princess and Tealeanna of Black Unity and the drunk teen girls that constantly start fights beat up the
14) trans woman. This lead to the dude in white truck to come over and try to save her, eventually leading to chaos and white truck dude getting kicked in the head by Love that was also tied to Black Unity and I believe the Fake Riot Ribs.After this, Black unity folks were absent
15) Next time we saw them they were in full black bloc hiding in the crowd and quieter. Some time passes again and we have the shooting of Aaron "Jay" Danielson. First, I am not claiming the shooting was self-defense or not, I don't know all the details and we never may.
16) I know it looked like disproportionate use of force to respond to pepper spray/baton, but there was another patriot prayer guy there that said bear spray and a knife was pulled and then "his friend" was shot. I know he gave a statement to the police, but he has not
17) been mentioned once by the police, the news, nor has he made statements on social media about the incident other than he is "Sad about the whole thing" when others were calling Michael Reinoehl a dead terrorist. I will say, Reinoehl was acting as security for black unity..

20) very forgiving, understanding and believe strongly in restorative justice, but the "swoop" has shown over and over to be in this for clout, have huge egos, don't ever listen to people with experience organizing, they don't believe in community lead movements & have said they
21) are the leaders, they have put people at risk physically and legally many times because of their "I know best" attitude, they have not once acknowledged their wrongs, none of them have apologized for making baseless claims about leftists being informants, several have talked
22) about anarchists as being a problem and constantly escalate situations that need to be deescalated, to name a few. I once saw them try and sic a crowd on a drunk dude that just got out of surgery, saying he had a gun, when he had surgical equipment under his shirt.
23) Now here we are, 1000's of right wing extremists are showing to Portland for violence and retribution. Experienced activists that many have been fighting fascism for decades are saying to stay the fuck away from Delta park, but a group is deciding to go anyway. I havn't
24) heard one trusted and experienced antifascist say that they support going to Delta Park. People need to not spread numbers thin and put people in danger. I'm also hearing some are claiming it is family friendly, that is absurd if true. Guess who is involved? Black Unity PDX.
25) Now to clarify, i am not saying those organizing the Vanport event aren't trusted or aren't experienced. We don't really know alot about some groups and their plans. i also am not saying that Black Unity PDX hasn't done good or have potential. I would bet based on change in
26) behavior that they have been humbled a bit and learned a lot, but not due to being open to help and criticisms, because they have not.Its probably due to consequences to their people & associates being out there. This is an opportunity for accountability and to work through
27) problematic behavior, but up to this point they have shown no such efforts.
