Her record of jurisprudence will make her confirmation tough to stop. The only break in the clouds here is that she is more likely to uphold precedent in cases like Roe v Wade than other possible choices, but the balance of the court needs to be fixed if it can’t be stopped.

McConnell isn’t playing poker, he’s playing chess.

If he can’t keep the filibuster while Democrats control the Senate, he will use it against Democrats to obtain more power when Republicans regain control of the Senate. His goal is always more power that is harder to take away.
