I’m currently reading “The Faking of Russia-gate” by Stephen Roh, Joseph Mifsud’s attorney & business partner.

Despite having been released over 2 years ago, it’s one of the better books I’ve read on Spygate.
2\

In this thread, I just want to focus on a claim Roh makes about George Papadopoulos in early May 2016.

He believes PapaD must have learned about the Russians possibly possessing Clinton’s emails from the reporting of Fox News and/or Breibart.
3\

On May 4, Fox News ran an exclusive interview with the Romanian hacker Guccifer.

4\

On May 5, an article appeared on Breitbart stating Gufficer had accessed HRC’s private server.

breitbart.com/tech/2016/05/0…
5\

Also on May 5, Judge Napolitano claimed on Fox Business that his sources were telling him that the Russians and other foreign countries had hacked Clinton’s server.

6\

Going back to May 4: @HansMahncke pointed out to me that Papadopoulos received an email from his connection at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ivan Timofeev, that said they were "open for cooperation.”

(Senate Russia report)
7\

On May 6, PapaD told Australian diplomat Erica Thompson that the Russians offered to release information that could be damaging to Clinton’s campaign.
8\

Here's the question -- did PapaD combine Timofeev’s openness to ‘cooperate’ with news about Guccifer hacking HRC’s server and turn into a tale that the Russians were prepared to release kompromat on Clinton to aid the Trump campaign?

PapaD has been known to exaggerate.
9\

This video by Sonofnewo details just one example of how PapaD took information he learned and immediately relayed it to someone else with embellishments.

10\

I’m also including another video by Sonofnewo that breaks down PapaD’s claim that Mifsud told him the Russians had thousands of HRC’s emails.

11\

Hopefully this thread can be a resource for those taking a closer look at those pivotal days in May 2016.

I’ll have more thoughts on The Faking of Russia-gate later.

THE TROUBLING CASE OF GEORGE NADER

Part II

💸 💲 🥂 💲 💰 💲 💵 💲 Image
/2

On a luxurious yacht in the Red Sea in 2015, George Nader mingled with Gulf and Middle Eastern elite, from the crown princes of the UAE and Saudi Arabia to the kings of Bahrain and Jordan and Egypt's president.
/3

The discussion on the yacht centered on creating a new, more aggressive joint organization to counter the increasing influence of Iran and Turkey in the region. Nader agreed to take on a mission to secretly influence the next U.S. president to support their aims.

THE TROUBLING CASE OF GEORGE NADER: THE CONVICTED PEDOPHILE WHO MOVED IN POWERFUL CIRCLES

PART I Image
/2

Objectivity is disregarded by many journalists today. News coverage of individuals is shaped by partisan narratives. If someone does not fit a desired narrative, their story receives little attention, regardless of significance.
/3

Thus, the story of George Nader has largely faded from public attention, despite his long history of involvement in high-stakes diplomatic affairs.

I've compiled the available information, and here's his story. No holds barred.

FOUL WATERS

A deep dive into the sordid world of yachting--rich elites, glamorous models, lavish vessels, and political intrigue.

Batten down the hatches 🧵

When you hear the word “yachting,” perhaps you imagine leisurely sailing off the coast of California while listening to the soothing sounds of Loggins and Messina. Image
3/

That is definitely NOT the type of yachting we’ll be discussing in this thread.

The most succinct definition of “yachting” I’ve come across is this one. Image

THE MCCAIN REPUBLICANS: THE FINAL CHAPTER

What did they know and when did they know it?

Part III Image
2. Part II of this series is over 4 years old. I gave up on the series when the reality that we'll never "get to the bottom" of Russiagate drained all my motivation.
3. There is too much Republican involvement in the origins of Russiagate that I'm not sure even Donald Trump himself wants to reveal the entire truth. At this point, why would it benefit him to expose any possible Republican role in pushing the hoax?

The McCain Republicans and the Lewinsky Scandal

a thread 🧵 Image
The genesis of this thread is an email I came across from a doc dump from the Clinton Library. It's been out there for nearly 10 years, but I've never seen it before. It sent me down a rabbit hole where I encountered a recurring cast of characters in DC scandals.

Starting with the creator of the email, Sidney Blumenthal. Blumenthal may be less famous than his son, Max, these days, but he's a prominent figure in Clinton circles. His official title was "Assistant to the President" when he was brought into the White House in 1997. Image

Nikki Haley tweeted variations this all day long yesterday. It's a clear example of her strong adherence to neoconservatism.

Let me explain.
Leo Strauss, the academic godfather of the neocons, was a big fan of the TV show Gunsmoke because it showed the conflict between good and evil in a way that would be immediately intelligible to everyone. Sheriff Matt Dillon wore the white hat; the bad guy wore the black hat.
Strauss believed that societies needed powerful myths and stories, like the hero defeating bad guys on Gunsmoke, to inspire people and give them a sense of moral clarity.

Yes, if you want society to act, it's a powerful way to move people.

However, there are many problems.
