So, I was trying to find out about this new SNP Rebuttal WhatsApp group, when I came across something that is indicative of the SNP's "couldn't give a flying feck" attitude. I admit that, in the grand scheme of things, it's relatively minor, but still...

Scotland's public spending regulator has told state-controlled ferry purchasers Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited & Transport Scotland there is a duty to investigate fraud after claims the awarding of the ferry fiasco contract to tycoon Jim McColl's Ferguson Marine (1/22)

So, we will have to wait until June to read the (probably) redacted report on any Legal Advice that the Scottish Government may have received regarding a second independence referendum.

The wait is due to the ICO not wishing to be accused of unduly affecting the local authority elections in May for either side of the constitutional divide, but why won't the Scottish Government release the advice in the first place

The 'official' reason is that releasing the advice may deter other legal advisors from working with the Government in future, but the ICO stated that this line didn't apply anymore, due to events related to the Salmond trial and subsequent inquiry.
