I was at a servo today, I was just about to leave and an elderly gentleman in his 70s came over and said his car had broken down. He explained it all and just wanted a lift to the top of the hill. I have to turn off earlier.
He said oh ok sorry for worrying you. I asked where do you live. It was local, I said hop in mate. We talked and discussed, I found out his name was Larry.
I drove him home and he was so happy. We talked about the lack of humanity in the current world.
I learnt a lesson from his dad. Only lend money to a friend if you can afford to not receive it back and never ask, it will always cause problems and maybe a loss of a friend.
