Time for a Q3 $TSLA #SGF report. As has been the case all quarter, nothing at the marshalling lot @TESLAcharts @cppinvest 1/

However, thanks to TC we know that cars did arrive in Vancouver just very late in the game. $TSLA #SGF 2/

This left me with the possibility that they had switched lots or that they shipped directly to the retail locations so my young navigator and I decided to tour the 3 retail locations all of which are publicly available $TSLA #SGF 3/

First stop was the West 4th location. It is very large with an attached service centre and space to store cars below #SGF $TSLA 4/

We counted roughly 50 cars with licence plates but no insurance stickers so these were clearly available for sale if not prepped for delivery. Normally the customer will pick license plates and then put them on as transfer of title but this could be a COVID change #SGF $TSLA 5/

We then looked at the Downtown location which is just a store front. There were a couple stores in a public lot out back and we found a service location about 5 min away that had 7 more on site #SGF $TSLA 6/

Finally we looked at the retail location in Park Royal. It is in a busy mall with no sequestered area so we didn’t find any cars in our search of the lot #SGF $TSLA 7/

So in total we found roughly 60 cars prepped for sale. It was mid day Saturday so if I had to guess it was a standard shipment of 100 that came in and was trucked directly to the 4th and downtown locations. #SGF $TSLA 8/

This puts sales on par with last quarter of around 100 which was right in the middle of COVID. The late delivery timing is odd but they managed to make it work. And fortunately the quarter ends Wednesday so the banks will be open. #SGF $TSLA 9/

The mounting of license plates also allows deliveries to be registered prior to delivery IMO though I see it highly likely they do deliver by month end. As always, trade carefully. Thanks to my young co-navigator for sharp eyes too $TSLA #SGF End/
