You are here for a reason.

We are all here creating content for the same reason.

The sincere real-life story of this Sales Notepad.

// THREAD //
Late teens and real life starts to hit you.

You are no longer a kid, but still not yet an adult.

“Get good grades”, “Go to college”, “Get a good job”.

The life story drawn into your mind from an early age.

Most fall for it, including Notepad.
Living in 6 countries during teenage years built character:

- Restarting life from zero
- Learning new ways of living
- Leaving people behind

You get strong; you learn not to quit.

A real-life challenge...

This marked the next 10 years for this Notepad; the 20’s..
College years…

Instead of “What do I like to learn?”

You think “What will make me money?”.

Or study what others tell you to study.

You go to college without knowing what to expect.

And it's normal, you are still learning about yourself.

Most fall for it, including Notepad.
College Professors…

Most of them have never started a business.

Yet, they teach you all the fundamentals to build.

In reality, they are selling the “9-5 dream”.

Follow rules, be comfortable and get paid monthly.

You believe in this dream, until you get to the dream.
The 9-5…

You start to realise it is all a game.

A game of politics, a game of climbing.

You simply need to study the strategy and climb.

And this is what this Notepad did.

Climbed…

And climbed pretty quickly, only to realise something…
You climb the 9-5 ladder...

Sales Notepad….

- Smashed sales targets
- Promotions every year

You reach success and then ask:

“Now what?”, “Is this what I want?”, “For what?”

It hits hard and be cautious; this can bring you down.

These thoughts triggered something…
You reach a point in life...

Where you ask:

“What will my 80-year-old self, think about this lifestyle?”

It can happen in your 20’s, 30’s, 40’s+…

But it will happen; the sooner the better.

Reaching your goals or feeling stuck will trigger you.

Trigger you to change.
It is only when you ask "Am I happy?"

That you start looking for alternatives.

This is why most are creating content.

To be free from the routine lifestyle.

To build something.

No timetables and no office politics.

Choosing who you work with and who to speak to...
The 9-5 isn’t bad.

You learn and it’s a real experience.

But one eventually needs to ask:

“Is this worth it?” and “Can I do better?”

And here we are…

Sales Notepad.

10 tricks that trigger you to spend money.

// Thread
1. Reducing the left digit

The first digit makes a difference in buying decisions.

Your mind encodes numbers at a high speed.

It automatically assumes it is much cheaper with a lower number.
2. Removing the comma

Removing the comma makes the price looks cheaper.

($1,229 vs. $1299). It’s proven research.

Apple uses this strategy on their homepage.

10 types of people to avoid.

// Thread
Patronising personality.

They think they are better than you. They tend to be bullies. They shout. Make fun of you. Or talk behind your back. You can disarm them by remaining calm and avoiding sarcasm. “Are you done? Can we move on now?”.
Hypocrite personality.

They judge and then do that same thing. They are unaware of their words & actions. Let them know that it annoys you. Stay calm. Choose positive words to confront them. Use “I” instead of “you”. Prepare for emotional reactions.

Eye movement is their mind reflection

Avoiding eye contact? They're shy, hiding something or feeling intimidated.

- Looking bottom right? Reflecting feelings.
- Top right? Potential lie.
- Bottom left? Disagreement.
- Top left? Remembering.

Study eye movements.
Writing style defines their personality

Long sentences? They struggle to explain/understand.

WRITING LIKE THIS!?! High energy/hyper.

Short sentences? Calm & paused.

Received a short email? Respond with a short email.

People are what they write and how they write.

10 tricks that trigger you to spend money.

// Thread
No currency ($) signs.

You’ll notice it in restaurant menus.

And even retail shops.

You spend more when you don’t see the dollar sign.

It reduces the “pain of paying”.
Supersized Carts.

Shoppers don’t like to push around empty carts.

Larger carts lead to spending 40% more.

If you want to avoid overspending…

Consider grabbing a basket or a smaller cart.

10 mistakes to avoid before your 30’s.

// Thread
“You have to be nice”

Don’t confuse being nice with kindness.

Nice = concerned with not upsetting someone.

Kind = concerned with doing what is right.

Nice often leads to a lot of "yes", wanting to be liked.

Respect yourself. Your own time. Do what is right.
“Save your money”

Money in your bank account doesn't multiply. Find ways to keep your money in motion. Learn about crypto, stocks, real estate. Have skin in the game. A $50 investment profit or $50 investment loss will teach big life lessons. Always be compounding.
