A few regulars of Vancouver's anti-lockdown protests attended a meeting for a Holocaust denial group (led by Monika Schaefer via Skype), then burned wooden blocks pretending they were books, gave Sieg Heils by a Third Reich flag, and joked about burning Jews #cancelculture
"Just like 1930s Germany" said neo-Nazi Brian Ruhe.

The wood blocks they burned gave satirical titles for books and "manuels." When someone pointed out the misspellings, one said it was for the Spanish people they hate.
The woman who joked about burning Jews is named Dianne and has been to some of the anti-lockdown protests with a sign containing modified excerpts from the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion

The censorship is on neo-Nazi Brian Ruhe's end, not mine.
In a previous video Dianne mentioned attending the No New Normal's executive committee to plan their protests.

No New Normal is the original Vancouver anti-lockdown protest group (previously named No More Lockdowns and then absurdly Human Rights Movement).
Anti-Semitism has always been part of and tolerated by No New Normal. Brian Ruhe, an esoteric Hitlerist neo-Nazi was always involved in organizing with others aware of his beliefs. His involvement is partly why this group declined from its peak in May.

Vancouver's bigger anti-mask / anti-lockdown protests since then have been primarily organized by other groups such as Kulbaba's A Celebration of Rights and Freeedoms. While Kulbaba initially distanced his Surrey protests from them, his Vancouver protests have since collaborated
Monika Schaefer has attended at least two of No New Normal's (No More Lockdowns / Human Rights Movement) anti-lockdown rallies and gave a speech for at least one
Tony does say he would not Sieg Heil in video, but earlier on in the full video he says he "opened his eyes" to Holocaust denial and agreed with Ruhe saying Jews sank the Titanic. Tony has attended anti-lockdown rallies with Ruhe from the beginning.

Ruhe recently claims to have stepped away from No New Normal's executive committee recently, but paradoxically gave himself credit for helping organize the big Sept 13th rally which he was at.

Dianne was still at the most recent one.
Of note is that anti-lockdown and anti-mask activists are seeking nomination to run in the BC provincial election. Some used Sunday's No New Normal protest to announce seeking candidacy. I know all three have been aware of their Nazi problem previously (esp. Standfield).
Hugs Over Masks founder Vladislav Sobolev was also there to encourage them.

Anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist Raoul Taylor van Haastert is also still involved with No New Normal and introduced many of the speakers.

I wanted to do some in-depth reviews on Freedom Convoy literature, but ultimately decided against it.

I will say though that from the two (supportive) books that are out made me appreciate something I paid little attention to before: "the founder" Brigitte Belton's role.
Both Andrew Lawton and Tom Quiggin trace the origins of the Freedom Convoy to Brigitte Belton, a trucker from southwest Ontario, who got a bit of a following on TikTok after she was poorly treated by CBSA officer for wearing a visor mask instead of a surgical one. She's anti-vax.
Belton first suggested the idea of a "convoy to end mandates" to Chris Barber on TikTok. It quickly took off.

Originally they did not plan to go to Ottawa, but to have a bunch of separate provincial convoys including border blockades. Graphic promoting the "Convoy to End Mandates" &qu

Sovereign Citizen antisemite Christopher James got to speak at Sunday's Parliament Hill rally again

He denied COVID-19 even exists.

It's a choice by the organizers to amplify him. You can't just cry about "Liberal plants" when you do that.
On his show last week he mentioned making requests to Kelly Anne Wolfe and Pat King to speak. It's not like it was open mic.

One video from Saturdays shows him on Hill with a megaphone and banner away from the main stage, with only about 20 people listening to what he had to say Image
He also talked about trying Trudeau and health officials for treason, the classic SovCit babble about birth certificates, among other things. Par for the course.

Thread on the "World Wide Rally" for freedom planned on Sept. 18th

These are COVID-19 conspiracy rallies (anti-lockdown, anti-mask, anti-vaccine) that the Canadian movement has been doing this year. They happen in several countries, but Canada has been a big participant. Graphic poster advertising ...Image
The first World Wide Rally was in March 25th.

The Second on May 15th.

Third on July 24th.

This is the fourth one.

There was also a "Canada-wide" rally on May 1st by the same person who coordinates the (Anglo) Canadian ones, but not as large or widespread.
Although these rallies happen around the world (mostly in Europe), Canada stands out because of the large number of cities involved. For the last days, Canada made up more than half the cities officially listed.

Typically Over >50 Canadian cities participate, officially or not.

For the past year, a common argument from Canadian "anti-lockdown" protesters was that none of them got caught COVID, which was then used to dismiss the threat.

There was always reasons to be skeptical of them, but the past month we've seen much evidence to the contrary.

One protester at a Medicine Hat rally tested positive for COVID-19. The rally was at J Rocks Bar and Grill, a restaurant defying health orders, and was attended by Chris Sky when he was on his tour. Neither encouraged people to get tested upon the news.
Two buses that took people from Beauce to a large Montreal rally May 1st were exposed to COVID according to health authorities, with "less than five confirmed positive people" so far as passengers. Authorities said that there's trouble getting cooperation. montreal.ctvnews.ca/protesters-who…

PPC supporters spammed me on numerous occastions that this SLAPP suit was going to rip Kinsella apart and vindicate Bernier. Instead it's just making him look worse.
Bernier's statement of claim was really just that Kinsella called him racist on his blog. It couldn't get too much into the consultant work reported in the media because he had no hard evidence of it beyond hearsay. And according to that he guessed wrong on all the details.
My favourite line in the article:

"While Bernier went on to lose his seat in the Quebec riding of Beauce in the 2019 election, Singh won the British Columbia riding of Burnaby South."

Ottawa anti-lockdown rally tweets.

A poor family came all the way from Manitoba for this.

The rally is technically supposed to have begun by now and there's less than 100. It could pick up a little more later but will still be a disappointment for them.
Shawn Jason claims they were told police would not be arresting or ticketing today.
Paula Tucci of Stand Up Canada is speaking, encouraging the Bill of Rights. I was talking about last night, they're trying to find alternative documents to the Charter of Rights that they are finding isn't working, but not seeing their weaknesses
