2- Online courses have been existing for a long time, but the acceptance increased with the lock down as many saw it as a means to get trained in the skills they needed since they could not go out.
3- Online courses are internet based schools that provide an opportunity for education outside of the traditional school that we have. Today, thousands, if not millions of organizations are putting up courses in every field.
4- Online courses give you the opportunity to learn in a self paced, relaxed atmosphere. You can become a professional in almost all the fields from the comfort of your room. The opportunity is robust,
5- ...but many still do not take advantage of the courses due to some misconceptions. We will take a look at the myths that stops people from taking online courses.
I took a course recently on management and it opened my eyes to see what I was already doing and how I can do it better. Online courses help you to bring your skills from an unconscious state to a conscious state.
You become aware of the things you are doing and it helps you to know exactly what it is, what would come from it and how you can make it better. The awareness that online courses can give you has a great premium which can turn around your endeavors!
7- MYTH 2: 'Online Courses Are Not Recognized'
This is very laughable. Personal development has overtaken traditional school in many fields. Check out financial institutions, IT firms, HR firms, Education, Agriculture, Management, Governance.
8- Personal development, backed up by professional development has a greater premium than traditional certificates. The fence has been removed. Online courses can give you the edge you need and this is a fact!
9- MYTH 3: 'Online Courses Is Not My Thing'
Education can be formal or informal. Formal education was made compulsory for most by their parents and you fitted into it whether with or without tears. Your mind will fit perfectly into online courses when you see a need for it.
10- There are training you cannot get physically of your location. There are training you won't have access to except you go online. If you don't take online courses, you wont partake of them.
11- MYTH 3: 'To Start Online Course is Human, To Finish is Divine'
This depends on the kind of course you are taking. I recommend that you take courses that are not 100% self paced. Let there be something that you have to do at a particular time. Like a weekly live class.
12- MYTH 4: 'Online Courses Are Expensive'
This depends on where you're looking. Some platforms have highly priced fees and this is because they are affiliated to some universities. However, you can get good ones that are of moderate fees or even free.
13- Much more that the certificates, online courses will help you to gain self awareness, hone skills and progress comfortably.
So, what is stopping you?
Text, audio, video.
They are all available.
Pick your choice.
No more excuses!
14- In the next edition, I will give out links to help your search. Thank you @Eksunews for having me!
"An army of sheep led by a lion will defeat an army of lions led by a sheep. Attitude is everything."
I don't think so!
Why?
👇
Well, General Lion must turn his soldiers into lions before the battle if he wants to return from the battle.
Also, General Sheep must grow up fast and be turned to a lion if he wants to retain his army.
Attitude is not everything. You have to be competent too!
General Lion must be a terrible leader for taking an army of sheep to war knowing that a sheep has no defensive mechanism. He must take his time to transform his army to become like him before the war!

"Since 1987 March, the gospel of Jesus Christ in the whole planet earth has faced such a tribulation and trial that the church has never had in 50 years. The challenge has so come to ministers and ministries that almost it seems we
are to deny that Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords. Through the stories that the Newspaper carried, through NBC, CNN, CBS, men like him (Pastor Benny Hinn) and me and few others that go round the world have been asked: 'Is God still there or He bowed out?'
Particularly if you're from America. The stories that the media distributed round the whole world almost made people say 'if this is all that is in Christianity, that's enough'. But do you know in the face of it all,
