Glenn, this is a pretty easy fact check. Sen. Ted Cruz is right. It just doesn't fit your anti-Second Amendment narrative.

Here are the facts:

"Americans use their guns in self-defense between 500,000 and 3 million times a year."
Also, "Even two 'outlier' studies have concluded it likely occurs around 100,000 times a year."

And out of curiosity, why are you not including police officers in your definition of a "good guy with a gun"? heritage.org/firearms/comme…
