I’ve been looking at some of the people behind Lozza ‘Loser’ Fox & his new party.

The 1st thread looked at his PR company of mostly ex-Telegraph staffers, to show that they - not he - should be taken seriously

But this 2nd one is a comic tale

A rom-com even

Read on:

(thread)
After all, throw a party for a clown, expect a circus.

Or in this case, Darren Selkus.

Former soldier, businessman, & failed Brexit Party candidate.

A man it’s hard to take seriously. Image
He blew his cover when he posted the privacy policy on the new Looza Party website, (hat-tip to Guido).

So, we *know* Darren helped build the site.

But if the first thread was about serious professionals, Dazza is very much the comic amateur... Image
Selkus gained some notoriety last year, when, angry at some Tory MPs, he posted a video of himself saying he was taking his kids to the Tower of London to “show them how the UK used to deal with traitors who are committing treason”

Article & video:

inews.co.uk/news/brexit/br…
For that, Darren managed to make The Indy’s top ‘100 of the most hilarious Brexit moments from the three most ridiculous years in British politics’, scraping in at number 90.

But that wasn’t the only time he managed to make the papers...

indy100.com/article/brexit…
... in November, Dazza was in the news again, turning out in full kit on Remembrance Day to lay a wreath on behalf of the Brexit Party.

The British Legion wasn’t impressed at the use of the uniform for political purposes.

Even worse for Dazza...

independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…
... by the time the video came out, Farage had pulled the plug on those standing against sitting Tory MPs.

Dazza was “shattered”, writing:

“I don’t understand why Nigel Farage has betrayed my incredible volunteers and thousands of constituents who will have no one to vote for”
And there was more betrayal to come.

In response to the video, Brexit Party spokesman Gawain Towler said there was nothing wrong with Mr Selkus’ behaviour, but added:

"I am not going to waste my time defending a former candidate.”

Ouch.
Dazza had became a parliamentary candidate in May, just 10 days after joining the Brexit Party, promising:

“I only got involved in politics to get us out of the EU and once that is achieved will have accomplished my personal mission.”

essexmagazine.co.uk/2019/09/column…
...but politics is a drug, and promises are made to be broken

As chairman of the family wooden veneer company, he can see in actor Fox material he can work with to front a NEW party!

A month ago, on August 25th, he is desperately trying to get Looza’s attention via Twitter: Image
The next day he is sycophantically thanking Looza for his effort in the Battle of the Proms, and retweeting a call for his knighthood. Image
In the days that follow, Selkus is testing the waters with his Twits for a new party

In the 2019 GE, unable to vote for himself, he’d been forced to spoil his own ballot. Yuk.

Things had to change

By now Dazza has had it with Farage, and is telling people to ‘watch this space’ ImageImageImage
By 6 Sept, Selkus is confident enough to start tagging Looza in on his tweets about the burning issues of the day - BLM, the BBC...

Looza doesn’t like them back, but that doesn’t matter to the numbers, because Dazza is the kind of man unafraid to like his own tweets... ImageImageImageImage
(btw Selkus ‘likes’ his own tweets a LOT, I mean nearly EVERY time he writes a tweet.

Useful perhaps when only 2 or 3 others like it, but Dazza, stop it - we know you already like your tweets, you WROTE them.

It just looks a bit desperate, know what I mean?

Great pecs though) Image
10 September.

The game’s afoot.

Dazza RTs Looza’s now deleted post:

“We need to rally together, get organised. We have plans” says Looza.

Is it co-incidence Dazza also includes ex-Brexit MEP & former Loaded editor Martin Daubney in the call to arms?

(And deffo NO MORE NIGEL) ImageImage
Daubney has set up his own media behemoth Un-locked, a YouTube channel with a mighty 1.75k subscribers, dedicated to letting attention-hungry ex-Brexit Party boys and girls pretend they are still on TV.

It’s a carrot for Dazza to dangle in front of Looza, while sucking up again Image
Now, Loz’s act is partly about petulantly huffing down those complaining about discrimination within society, and decrying ‘victimhood’.

So when Dazza claims that the REAL victim of discrimination is Fox himself - at last! - he’s kissed his ass & Looza ‘likes’ it.

O happy day! ImageImage
Dazza’s hit the sweet spot.

Judging folk by the ‘content of their character’ & not the colour of their skin is Looza’s main defence.

Of course the reality is people don’t want to work with him, not because he’s white, but precisely *because* of his character - he’s obnoxious.
... but we’re through the looking glass and outraged victimhood is now Looza’s drug of choice, his favourite bit of moral cos-play...
... and in fawning on Fox, Dazza gets the same sense of comfort of securely knowing his rightful place that the non-commissioned Officer can feel for his public-school superior.

After all, Dazza loved a Nigel once.

But that’s over now, Daz has a new love, & he’s head over heels
Tues 22 Sept.

T-30.

The battle plan has been drawn up, forces are secretly manoeuvring into position, and the countdown to the opening salvo has begun.

It’s going to be even bigger than The One Show.

Much bigger. ImageImage
Wed 23 Sept

The rebel army is advancing

Under Culture War Commander Fox, Lieutentant Selkus can play at political soldiers once again.

Onwards to the Kulturkrieg! Image
Thurs 24 Sept

Daubney is softening up the right flank, preparing the ground.

KulturKriegKommander Fox Is sticking *up* for Empire, sticking it *to* the evil Marxist curriculum colonisers, & the un-British quisling traitors of the so-called ‘B’BC! Image
Sat 26 Sept.

The day before the Looza Party launch.

Their hearts filled with joy, Dazza and KKK Fox even sing to each other as they march onwards, anticipating tomorrow’s joining of battle.

A beautiful duet.

Does Dazza quite realise Looza is singing a Jonny Cash song? Image
... because, inspired, the words of Dazza’s reply are his own, even if they don’t rhyme, or even quite scan.

“There’s a train coming
Walls are going to tumble
Let the sun shine through
Are you ready”

How refreshing it must be for Looza not to be the worst at music for a change.
The words don’t quite make sense either

Daz’s imagery isn’t of a train to freedom but one that’s going to smash into a wall instead, sunlight beyond - was the train inside?

But Loz likes, & no doubt it’ll one day prove appropriate for the train-crash that’s inevitably a’ coming Image
It’s risky to put your trust in an attention-hungry, privileged public-schoolboy egotist.

When the going gets tough, will Looza loyally stand by his man & share the flak?

Or dump him like Nigel?

That’s when we’ll learn a little more about the real content of Looza’s character.
UPDATE:

Yesterday Fox admits his £5 million donation is from Tory / Vote Leave / Brexit Party donor Jeremy Hosking.

Vote Leave was the Cummings / Gove outfit.

I don’t think Fox will have much of a problem getting hold of data for political targeting...

And lastly, here is my 3rd thread on the new party, looking at the political players I think might be connected:

Some clues are in the first follows of its new Twitter feed.

We laugh at Lozza ‘Loser’ Fox but we’ll have to take this seriously, I’m afraid.

Not him. Those behind him.

He’s just a figurehead.

They have the cash - £5 million up front - and a plan.

The expertise, experience & contacts too.

But who are they?

Read on & pls RT

THREAD
1 of 10/

Some are trying to use sex assault victims to criticise Keir Starmer.

In fact he’s been their champion.

2012

After 1st convictions in the Rochdale scandal as DPP he orders:

“Radical changes to the way sex abuse victims are dealt with”

telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/la…
2/

March 2013

Learning from the failings of Rochdale, Savile & Warboys, he changes CPS rules.

Issuing “guidelines making clear that we had to abandon the notion of the “model” victim and do justice for real victims”

news.sky.com/story/savile-n…
3/

He keeps going.

July 2013

Polly Neate, Women’s Aid:
He’s been a "powerful force for change over the past five years"

Liz Kelly, co-chair, End Violence against Women coalition:
"I hugely appreciate what has been done at the CPS under his watch.”

Thread

1./

In 2018, some on the right disgracefully tried to smear Keir Starmer, then Shadow Brexit Secretary, using the Warboys case. They were wrong and had to retract.

Sadly, some on the left are now repeating those old smears to try to score points today.

Please read & RT
2./

It’s a distressing, emotive case:

An overview:
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Worb…

The police were found guilty of bungling the initial investigation, refusing to believe those reporting assault. The police appealed, unsuccessfully, supported by then Home Secretaries May and Rudd: Image
3./
Warboys was finally arrested & in April 2008 was charged with 23 offences. He was convicted of 19 the following March.

Starmer only became DPP in Nov 2008.

Here, the CPS explains the prosecuting decisions & makes clear he had no involvement in them:
