This is my Country!
A nation with abundant natural resources.
Her most diverse feature is her people, a nation with over 207M people and over 250 ethnic groups.
Her natural talents grit with passion but her people have lost their belief in her. Her cracks are widening and the anger of her people is rising by the day.
Her heritage is no longer cherished.
The age of her treasure, worth of her people and the glimpse of her colour are no longer sparkling to the admiration of the world.
The value of her currencies keep depreciating and the price of her commodities keep inflating.
Although she boast of abundant wealth inherent in the human capital and riches of her land, her citizens have barely enjoyed her prosperity. It is for this spirit that they've lost their warmth, unity, love and welcoming spirit.
Her electoral malpractice is analogous to the examination malpractices we see in her colleges today.
Hunger driven electorates trade their votes for a cheap plate of porridge offered by greedy politicians while her depraved teachers transact business with lazy and weak students, all of these just to strengthen the rod of her corruption.
Who shall redeem her heritage?
Who shall restore her probity?
Can her people regain their confidence in her values?
As she clocks 60 today, May there be a complete end to the godfatherism and militarism that has robbed her people of democracy in recent years.
No longer will democrats disregard the patriotism and allegiance of her people.
May the litany of tragedies that have befallen her become a thing of the past.
May her lost years and lost strength be restored.
I pray for probity, credibility, transparency and expert leadership among her democrats and the courage for her people to dissent, assist and facilitate the leaders to increase effectiveness in her functioning.
May the Nigeria of my dream come true!
Happy Diamond Anniversary to her!
Together shall we be!

From a gentleman's point of view, the unregenerate mind believes that being in a relationship has a LOT to do with sexual intimacy and for some, it's the best thing you can benefit.
It's not our fault that we're wired to think this way but the society has portrayed it with respect to cultural diversity and moral upbringing.
Ever wondered why your resistance to sexual immorality is weak and your strength of conviction is dull??

A SUCCINCT THREAD!!
The reality of indwelling sin and the deceit of lust is why GUARDRAILS is so important.
To fight and avoid sexual sin, this principle helps us connect our convictions to our actions.
Can guardrails stop you from sinning? No, but they can save you from destruction if you so desire.
David took Uriah's wife and had him killed; His own troubles began?
Yes, truly, he repented but he lost the child from the product of his Adultery with Bathsheba!
His son Ammon raped his sister Tamar!
Sacrilege in the household of a King!
Ammon was also murdered by his own brother Absalom
What about when the king David had to flee into the woods because of the rebellion and conspiracy of his precious son, Absalom to overthrow him?
Yet, Absalom was gruesomely killed on the throne for David to return to the palace!
What happened to Lot and his daughters after Sodom's destruction?
Why did he have sex with them?
(A Succinct Thread)
Foremost, It is importance to remember that God considered Lot a righteous man.
(2 Peter 2: 4 -9).
It was, without a doubt, incredibly difficult for someone like Lot to be obedient to God in a city wholly given over to pursuing its lusts.
Secondly, the toxicity of Sodom and Gomorrah isn't a reason for us to think that Lot's daughters are not pure virgins. Environmental influence isn't an excuse to either embrace or shun immorality.
If you're loosed, you can travel several kilometres just to satisfy your lust.
Your past sexual frailties during the times of your ignorance does not disqualify you from speaking against impurity. No, it doesn't.
Your previous struggles with illicit drugs should not stop you from advocating against drug addiction either.
It's honourable if you've got no sexual experience. You will be a light and a model worthy of emulation to those who're relying on God's grace to walk through the same path.
On the contrary, It's comforting to have experienced the consequences of sexual impurity and the healing liberation from such acts.
Your story will minister hope, strength and liberation faster and speak more clearly to the struggles of others than that of the unblemished.
