It's a Game of Numbers

You don't have to be

- most creative
- most original
- super skilled
- lucky

to make a $2000/month online

You just need to understand the power of math.

// A THREAD //
Say, you start making websites (like me).

It takes you one month to learn the basics and get first reference from a friend who you made websites for free.

Then you start to outreach.

You target cleaning companies and propose a website for $600 ( very cheap)
You are terrible at closing and people don't trust you as you are new

Fortunately, there is still some math to do...

You start to outreach to 15 clients a day first thing in the morning (2 hours)

That's 450 clients/month

Let's say just 10% of them are interested
We have 90 ppl interested in your offer/month

You are a newbie and rather a terrible closer so you close only 4,5% of interested clients

That's 4 clients a month
Have you noticed?

You are a total newbie and terrible closer

and yet...

You sell a $2400 worth of websites (profit) and 4 x $25 monthly maintenance fees (in your 2nd month!)

PS. I may be lucky but I stopped outreach when I closed $2000 in first two weeks doing outreach...
You are new and you will make mistakes

Costly ones

Some clients won't pay
You will struggle with deadlines
your process will need to be improved
your communications skills will most probably suck

So probably just about 70% of that $2400 will actually end up in your account.
That doesn't matter, just be prepared

What matter is that if you keep doin outreach 15ppl/day

You can easily make $20 000 (sites) and $800+ monthly passive income (maintace fees)

in your FIRST YEAR

not bad, right?
The real magic happens in your 2nd year tho.

Now, you have plenty of references.

You are much more skilled.

You are trusted.

So you will start to target more profitable niche/raise your prices and now sell one site for $1200 (still very cheap)
You have also some capital now, so you can

- hire someone to do the outreach
- hire someone to help you with making the websites

That allows you to take up another skill (like copywriting, SEO, sales... that you can upsell) or make your whole process much more effective.
Now, the math gets crazy.

I believe you can make easily $5000+ and $250+ (maintenance fee that compounds) / month in your 2nd year and probably even much more.

I will test those numbers early on my own so will keep you updated.
What's the message of this thread?

1. Pick up a skill
2. Learn the basics (1 month)
3. Start outreach to 15 ppl/day
4. STAY CONSISTENT
5. Enjoy the $s, freedom and do something great

DM me or comment any (web design) questions.

PS. Don't forget it's a game of numbers!

How to Monetize Your Twitter Account (Using Just Free Tools)

// A THREAD //
Twitter is fun.

You enjoy engaging with others. You love the feeling when the account you admire hits the follow button on your profile.

All good.

But wouldn't be nice if you can get money from tweeting as a side product?
It's paradox.

We live in an age where "attention is the new currency" and it's more valuable than ever.

Yet, many people here:

- have fans
- create great content
- have a fair amount of attention

And don't make a single $ from it.

Freelance isn't the easy way out, it's the independent way to go.

I've just created a Gumroad page for my free ebook that will help you get started.

gumroad.com/l/freelancesta…

P.S. Don't forget to check the "Promotions" in your email afterward!

What chapters are there?
1) Why should you start freelancing in the first place?

Freelancing is a way of life for millions of workers around the world who either can’t or don’t want to work for someone else anymore.

Yet it's not easy. That's why I wrote the ebook. Image
2) How to learn a high-income skill

To build a successful freelancing business you need a skill that is highly in demand, and the most profitable skills are usually in high demand for other reasons too, like being difficult to learn.

Best tips on this. Image

1. Morning Routine

"I am too sleepy to do anything" - not even mentioning the getting up.

Most of us know this, and it can be very true.

However, it is possible to make your mornings easier.

You can even "program yourself" to enjoy getting up early - as crazy as it sounds. Image
2. Learn High Income Skill

The path to riches is paved with education.

The equation is simple: if you want a high income, you have to learn a high-income skill.

Here, I will explain what do I mean by a "high-income skill" and how to use your new morning time to learn it. Image

9 Books I Re-read Every Year

// A THREAD // 9 Books I Re-read Every Year
As Naval paraphrased:

“I don’t want to read everything. I just want to read the 100 great books over and over again.”

Those are the nine books that truly speak to me, and I believe re-reading them every year is an INSANELY high ROI activity.

Feel free to get inspired. Image

Why? Naval influenced my thinking more than anybody else.

And even though he doesn't write the book himself, the book is pretty solid.

How to Think Better: 5 Robust Tips

// A THREAD // How to Think Better: 5 Robu...
We think all the time.

Yet, we don't spend much time thinking about HOW we think.

But this meta-level is required if you want to IMPROVE your thinking.

Thinking is the highest ROI skill you can build for life.

Let me show you five tips on how to do it.
1. Get bored

The great thoughts don't come to you when you're busy jumping from one task to another.

- Shower
- Walk

...those are the places where great thoughts tend to appear.

Take advantage and plan how to incorporate "boredom" into your life.
