Short, fun thread... You'll like it. It's about treasure...
If I was to say, "The Dead Sea Scrolls," what's the first thing that comes to your mind?

No wrong answer here... I'll tell you mine, and I'll tell you what my wife's answer was to the same question.
Me: Some kind of preserved version of the Old Testament, fund in jars along the Dead Sea... Right before Romans came.

Wife: Gnostic texts that differed from canonical "bible," plus a few additional books...
There are treasures here on all kinds of levels...
First, here is the Wikipedia for a refresher (caveat: it's Wikipedia)

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Sea_…
I see some of the comments already referencing the "copper scrolls." Well, maybe it's well known in some circles—and I certainly KNEW there were copper scrolls as part of the find—but I kind of tuned out from there...

I didn't know it was a treasure map. It's not even religious.
Short story... The Essenes, likely on the outskirts of town because of the hard-line position on many things probably put them in a kind of "John the Baptist" role of adversary to the Sadducees and Pharisees, etc.

Undoubtedly dangerous to be in Jerusalem w/ a sharp tongue...
And by the time of Titus, the entire collection—spanning a couple hundred years BCE—were stored hurriedly in the arid cliff and cave systems of Qumran.

Their destination and plight is unknown.

To know that Hebrew hadn't changed in 2,220 years is amazing. The Bible was as it is.
But here is the thing... The writers of the Dead Sea scrolls were not the same writers as the Copper Scrolls...
The Copper scrolls were only discovered when a false cave wall collapsed on top of the newer versions.

It's highly unlikely that the Essenes even knew the Copper Scrolls were even there, as the false wall was made to look like a natural cave surface.
The writers of the copper scrolls left a message for the future of House of Israel, so that they could replenish the treasures of the temple.

As in the FIRST temple—Solomon's Temple—right before Nebuchadnezzar (destroyer of nations) came to level it, and scatter the tribes.
In other words, the copper scrolls were hidden 600 years before the Dead Sea scrolls, assuming they were hidden when Rome sacked Jerusalem in 70 AD.

How do we know this?
Let's look at contemporary sources and a few Bible passages for some perspective...

Josephus tells us that so much gold was taken from the Temple by Titus that it FLOODED the international gold market and caused the price of gold to collapse.

Want to know what else he said?
He also said that VAST MAJORITY of the temple's treasure were NEVER taken to Rome...

Even the famous Arch of Titus may depict a 2nd Temple Menorah... not the original.

What else do we have?
Well, we have logic... The Essenes were extremely critical of the Sadducees and Pharisees, it is an almost certainty the they would NOT let the Essenes be in charge of hiding any kind of Temple treasure.
But the first 3 words on the copper scrolls were:

"Gold, Cubits, and Dig"

And the Hebrew is laced with Greek in some kind of Cypher... The same form of Hebrew as was common at the height of Phoenicia, which is right around this time period.

It's a treasure map.

What else?
The total amount of gold and silver, as listed on the copper scrolls are equal to 170 tons.

The price of Gold right now for 1 ton is $64.3 million dollars by weight. 170 tons would put the monetary value alone into the $$$ trillions... And that's not accounting for real value.
The real value is incalculable...

Why?

Nothing remains of either 1st or 2nd temple...

Adversaries claim the nation of Israel never existed, despite 4,000 years of tradition... Seriously. The PLO, for example...

Wouldn't this validate everything?

The original Land claim.
Well, here is where it gets fun...

What does the Bible say about it?

First, let's turn to Book of 2nd Maccabees 2: 4
2: 4) "It was also contained in the same writing, that the prophet, being warned of God, commanded the tabernacle and the ark to go with him, as he went forth into the mountain, where Moses climbed up, and saw the heritage of God."
2:5) "And when Jeremiah came thither, he found an hollow cave, wherein he laid the tabernacle, and the ark, and the altar of incense, and so stopped the door.

2:6) "And some of those that followed him came to mark the way, but they could not find it."
2:7) "Which when Jeremiah perceived, he blamed them, saying, As for that place, it shall be unknown UNTIL THE TIME THAT GOD GATHERS HIS PEOPLE together, and receive them unto mercy."
Did you know that Qumran is right on the other side of Mount Nebo, where Moses climbed to look upon the promised land?

So, if Jeremiah was indeed tasked with hiding the temple treasure, this sure seems like a validation...

Anything else?
"And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up."

Acts 15-16
Near old Babylon—modern day Iraq—the Al-Kifl shrine sits as a former jewish pilgrimage site and home to a community of Iraqi Jews... Up until the late 1940's.

It houses the tomb of Dhu al-Kifl, the Islamic prophet.

Jews and Christians know him better as Ezekiel.
They found marble plates in Ezekiel's tomb that had the same inscription as the Jewish mystical writings of Emek HaMelech, "Valley of the King."
R. Naftali Hertz Bachrach lived in the first half of the 1600’s Rhineland, and travelled to Israel to study from Ari Zal, his teacher. In 1648, he published a book called Emek haMelech, or Valley of the King, in which he claimed to expound on the teachings of the Ari Zal...
This was his translation of what he was taught from the Ari Zal school...
More coming in the morning... Saving the best for last.
Morning kind of came and went...

Picking back up on Emek haMelech.

Let's take out the commentary and change the names mentioned into names for which we are familiar...
"These records were written by five righteous men. They are: Shimur the Levite, Hezekiah, Zedikiah, Haggai the Prophet and Zechariah, son of Ido the Prophet. Thy concealed the vessels of the Temple and the wealth of the treasures that were in Jerusalem...
... which will not be discovered until THE DAY OF THE COMING OF THE MESSIAH, son of David, speedily in our times, Amen, and so it will be..."
Whew... Heavy stuff.

And so you might say, "Yeah, but it could have been a bunch of overzealous Kabbalists, making up biased translations from 2,600 year-old Hebrew..."

Reasonable, surely...

Then how do you explain the next part?
"These are the holy vessels and the vessels of the Temple that were in Jerusalem and in every place. They were inscribed by Shimur the Levite and his companions, ON A COPPER PLATE."
Remember, the Dead Sea scrolls weren't discovered until 1946. The Rabbi translated this 300 years ago, and the Ezekiel inscriptions are 2,500+ years old, presumably etched while in living memory.
There is another Jewish pseudepigraphical book that has a whole lot of information on this event. It's not canonical, and was attributed to Jeremiah's scribe, Baruch.

"The Book of the Apocalypse of Baruch, son of Neriah."

Take from it what you will...
pseudepigrapha.com/pseudepigrapha…

I'll just pull out a few choice sections, but the link is here for others that want to dive deeper...
6 "It came to pass on the morrow that, lo! the army of the Chaldees surrounded the city, and at the time of the evening, I, Baruch, left the people, went forth and stood by the oak. 2 And I was grieving over Zion, and lamenting over the captivity which had come upon the people."
"And lo! suddenly a strong spirit raised me, and bore me aloft over the wall of Jerusalem. And I beheld, and lo! four angels standing at the four corners of the city, each of them holding a torch of fire in his hands."
"And another angel began to descend from heaven. and said unto them: 'Hold your lamps, and do not light them till I tell you. For I am first sent to speak a word to the earth, and to place in it what the Lord the Most High has commanded me."
"And I saw him descend into the Holy of Holies, and take from there the veil, and holy ark, and the mercy-seat, and the two tables, and the holy raiment of the priests, and the altar of incense, and the forty-eight precious stones, where with the priest was adorned...
and all the holy vessels of the tabernacle."
8 And he spoke to the earth with a loud voice:
That's all I want to share from Baruch...

So, this last part I added, not because it lends itself to the idea of the being in Qumran, but rather the opposite... The Temple treasure STILL being under the Temple, witnessed by Baruch from an "Oak tree" in Zion...
Is it possible that the "money" treasure (gold and silver) is buried in the desert, but the REAL treasure is still under the Temple?

The copper scrolls only describe "normal" treasure...

63 locations....
1:1 In the ruin that is in the valley of Acor, under
1:2 the steps, with the entrance at the East,
1:3 a distance of forty cubits: a strongbox of silver and its vessels
1:4 with a weight of seventeen talents.

Etc...

Nothing about the Ark, the Mercy-Seat, Holy raiments...
I'm not going to outweigh what the Holy scripture says with other texts... Just not going to do it.

I only wanted to bring up Baruch's account of Angels burying the treasure in the earth, because it lines up with Ron Wyatt's testimony.

Divisive subject.

Errata: My math was wrong on the value of the treasure... Billions of dollars, not trillions...
By now, you're probably catching my drift that the real treasure isn't gold and silver... And this was supposed to be a short thread, so I will end it with the best CANONICAL verse...

Then I'll follow up with more research material for the diggers...

ok... Here is the big one.
Haggai... He was young BEFORE the destruction, was mentioned as one of the 5 men, helped hide the temple treasure, lived through Babylonian captivity, AND...

Albeit old, he supervised the building of the 2nd Temple.
Want to know what he DIDN'T do? He didn't go to Qumran. He didn't commission a dig expedition... Although he very well could have done so.
And when the people who remembered the glory of the 1st Temple began to compare it to the 2nd (in disfavor), this is what G-d said through Haggai the Prophet...
6 "For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.
8 The silver is MINE, and the GOLD is mine, saith the Lord of hosts."
—End

Anyone have any legitimate info on this (gov. records)? For 5-6 years I've heard of this QFS—that apparently is based on some insane frame rate technology (impossible to hack).

Everyone with a show has an "insider."

Fulford, Wilcock, McConnell, etc. Are they all disinfo agents?
So, besides the various Charlie Ward videos... There does indeed seem to be some official mention of this.

From the White House...

It uses light as a new sensing modality... For extreme, throughput...
OCC Gov Document... mentions "QFS"

I wrote all of the Moscow, ID city council about them arresting the Christian singer yesterday, instead of putting their efforts onto real criminals... Like John Tester (but I digress).

The theme of my email was "SHAME on you!"

Here was one of their responses...
Mr. _______

I encourage you to read the article in the MPDN this morning. The arrests were made because of violations of the law, not because of singing or peaceful assembly, which was not and will not prohibited All have the right to peacefully assemble and demonstrate....
...but still must obey laws during that assembly. The Moscow Police Department and our local government have a long history of supporting the right to peacefully assemble and demonstrate, and Moscow is immensely fortunate to have a Police Department that ensures those rights...

I have two famous ancestors—both women—both rode into battle on horses to the amazement of all the men. Both French. One was the last of the Angevin line and Mother of the Plantagenet line. The other was a poor peasant girl who had visions from angels & was burned at the stake.
This was a recent discovery from my Mom and Aunt, who went on a "family tree" type of vacation a few years back. When I was told, I was like "cool!" But I haven't really dug into the stories of either... I have, but not like a deep dive.
Both seemed like good people. In fact, Eleanor of Aquitaine—later in life—may have been the impetus for the Robin Hood tales.

However, when she married into the house of Anjou, their offspring—in most cases—were monsters.

So... I started up my thread again, and have been digging in deep antiquity... I think I found another big one...

I am not convinced Abraham was from Sumer (Ur).

It all depends on where you place the Land of Shinar—which to my surprise—is not a settled issue.
There was another Ur. And it was not too far from Lake Van in Turkey... On a huge flat plain... East of Mount Ararat.

Isn't that interesting...

The Tower of Babel may have been MUCH further North.
Now... Check this out... Nearly every culture had an "explanation" of where they came from, written by later historians (Eusebius, Josephus, Strabo, etc.).

Many claim ancestors from Babel.

The Jaredites for the LDS... The Huns, The Scythians, The Basque...
