After Malawi gained "independence", the president visited south africa when the whole continent had refused to have open diplomatic relations with the apartheid government. In the 1980s Malawi was a base area for pro-rhodesia+south africa contras who terrorized Mozambique...
The government of Malawi had a close relationship with the fascists because in formal colonial times south africa used Malawi's people as easily exploitable migrant labor, and so-called independence continued this relationship.
Those swear up and down that Black people have "our own countries" or "our own governments" often overlook things like this. When something like the Mozambican Revolution happens, it comes under attack from the world...

So it is the world itself that must meet its end.
