I have just realized that a minor celebrity whom I’ve had numerous delightful exchanges with has muted me, and I 99% sure it was over a reply where I offered support for their frustration with a type of reply guy, but I phrased it awkwardly and sounded like a reply guy. 😬😖
I was even called out on it by another fan, immediately realized my goof, said they were right and that I had a slip of how I phrased what I meant, and apologized sincerely. Positivity and acceptance abounded with fellow fans but I think it was too late and I had gotten the mute.
Which is totally fine! I’m a big fan of using that mute button, especially against men, because we are the literal worst. I am owed nothing. I just honestly feel so bad like I’ve had a misunderstanding with a friend and would love to apologize for over the phone. Ah, anxiety.
Anyway, just putting it out there in the universe that I am sorry for upsetting someone I just adore. I truly value the lovely relationships and interactions I have made with you all and strive to make my tiny corner of this hellsite a little more pleasant whenever I can.

Some folks who are on the fence between Teresa Raiford and @sarah2020 have said they feel like they're being told why write-ins and Wheeler are bad, but not much about why they should be voting for Sarah.

Fair enough! Here's why I am incredibly enthusiastic to vote for Sarah! 🧵
First off, I'm calling her "Sarah," which feels a bit informal. But I got to talk to her for a few minutes when I was in volunteer training to phone bank, and I gotta tell you, it would feel weird not to use her first name, because she is, at her core, a friend and neighbor.
I moved to Portland about 6 years ago, and other than researching just enough to vote responsibly, I haven't been super active in local politics for my beloved chosen home. Why now? Quite simply, I have never seen a candidate more closely align with my values than @sarahforpdx.

My alma mater's motto is "leges sine moribus vanae" -- "laws without morals are useless." Eviction laws are acts of violence and devoid of any morality, especially in a global pandemic. These brave souls -- ordinary people -- are extraordinary ethical warriors. 🧵
Our country is having a long overdue reckoning -- we must disavow ourselves of assuming that all acts that break the law are evil and "bad," and that all acts by law enforcement are "good." Indeed, as of late, the polar opposite has been true.
A system based on punishment over lives will never achieve the supposed goals of a just society. What we're seeing in this video is an example of the people not just taking action to protect today's evictions, but to force us to examine the very morality of eviction laws.

Yesterday I had a 40-minute one-on-one phone call with Robert King, former PPA president and current senior policy advisor to Mayor Ted Wheeler.

I’m just a database developer. This is not how I thought I’d be spending my afternoon when I woke up.

So a couple of days ago, @Mikepkes shared this great quick website he built to share text message histories he received via a FOIA request. There’s a ton of interesting stuff here, and @jakedockter’s TL has some great highlights.

At the very end of one of the conversations, an unidentified number sends a Twitter link to a number of folks on Wheeler’s team, including the Mayor himself with no further comment. This link is the following tweet from Andy Ngo, where Ngo makes some claims regarding antifa.
