NAGORNO KARABAKH: An image is circulating on telegram which appears to show an Azerbaijani soldier holding the severed head of an Armenian/Republic of Artsakh soldier. 
UPDATE: We have investigated this photo and believe it to be genuine. We have checked multiple image searching services and this image does not appear online anywhere.
UPDATE: The blue tape on the plate carrier also matches the blue tape worn by a member of the Azerbaijani special forces that was killed recently. We have searched images of the 2016 war and can find no photos of soldiers wearing blue tape.
MORE: The image does not appear to have been modified or edited in any way by any photo manipulation software
