Long-term care, and our policies with regard to COVID has lead to the accelerated and early death of many people.
Do these actions (COVID response policies) of our government constitute criminal negligence?
To get a bed in a long term care home was a 2 year wait. That was the context when COVID arrived. Our hospitals were operating at over 100%.

Our hospitals and the Ministry of Health told our long term care system, if their residents have symptoms, they cannot come into the hospitals.
I ask the Minister of Long Term Care to allow families to take families out of long-term care, to help reduce the load, families were denied that.
The people at the COVID command table who were making these decisions would have known that keeping people in long-term care when they needed hospital visits would have lead to these excess deaths.
