3 effective ways to enjoy your affirmations using perceptual learning styles

[A thread]
Understanding your perceptual learning style is a great way to master any skillset. Creating effective affirmations or goals can also be deemed as a skill. If you are not seeing your desired results, then it may be due to your method not aligning with your learning style.
✳️ Here are the 7 perceptual learning styles and senses to help enhance and reinforce your affirmations:

1. Reading and writing
2. Aural (listening)
3. Haptic (touch)
4. Verbalization (talking)

(continued in next tweet)
(continued)

5. Kinesthetic (hands-on/body movement)
6. Olfactory (smell or taste)
7. Visuals (images, videos, and graphs)
The first technique that I commonly use for incorporating affirmations, using perceptual learnings styles, is integrating print.

Reading and writing down your affirmations is the most common practice.
You can also set a reminder on your phone to receive an affirmation, read a book surrounding the topic of your affirmation, or listen to inspirational content that supports your affirmation.
The second technique is relating visuals. Using images, videos, and graphs is another common way to implement affirmations. Creating a vision board to help you envision your affirmation or goal is great way to help you achieve it.
You can also create a collection of images related to your affirmation and tag them with the emotions or feelings you experience when looking at them.
The third technique (very effective) is associating olfactory or smell/taste into your goal-setting.

Smell and taste is a powerful way to subconsciously learn and integrate affirmations.

Here's how:
Make a list of scents or tastes you associate with the emotion or result in your affirmation or goal.

Lavender = relaxing
Lemon = rejuvenating
Patchouli = money

Incorporating aromatherapy in your daily routine will help you achieve the mindset and emotion of your affirmation.
The other 4 techniques can be found in our free guide, "The Power of Affirmations for the High-Value Woman," if you haven't already grabbed it.

This ebook expands upon how to create effective affirmations to transform your life.

Doing the work will get you what you want. You can manifest in your room all day and read as many articles as you’d like.

Yet, you won’t get anywhere living in your own head.

Proper preparation takes practice and a form of investment.
You don’t have to be perfect — just do the work!
And work doesn’t always mean actual hard labor.

Work smart, heal what needs to be healed, do your research and ask for second opinions.

💎#30DaysofThreads: Here is a thread on using color psychology in fashion so you can DRESS for the energy that you want to ATTRACT.
RED.

It is one of the most passionate and powerful colors. As I mentioned in the color theory thread from yesterday, studies show that it raises the heart rate and blood pressure. Additionally, it brings up emotions of lust, ambition, CONFIDENCE, authority, and success.
In Chinese culture, red represents beauty, vitality, and good luck.

Red is a great color for a special date night, for stage talks, NEGOTIATIONS, and networking events. It is a color to wear when you wish to influence and attract attention.

💎 #30DaysofThreads: Here is a thread on the basics of color theory so you can DRESS to IMPRESS.

Having this knowledge will allow you to make powerful impressions and properly pair color palettes.
So, what exactly is color theory?

It’s a set of rules used when working with color to mix, create a visual effect or create color combinations.

You can use it in design or interior decorating, but in this thread I am referring to fashion.
THE BASICS

There are three primary colors: blue, yellow and red.

Together, they make up secondary and tertiary colors. All of these range from WARM (reds, oranges, yellows) to COOL (greens, blues, purples) colors.
