This is a thread of the exact steps I take and have taken in the past to do multiple 7-figures in revenue and multiple 6-figures in profit.

Regardless of our political opinions, we all know the world is in a weird place

From COVID-19 to an insane election, people are confused and worried.

(^ these are important emotions to keep in mind as we want to leverage them to deliver a solution they’ve been looking for)

And in the past few weeks I’ve seen dozens of people talking about how scarce guns and ammunition have been.

And I’ve seen it myself at my local sporting stores.

People are buying guns and bullets and lots of them.

Let’s dive in deeper.

Google search 👉🏾 “gun ownership increasing”

1st result is...

“According to the widely cited Small Arms Analytics & Forecasting consulting firm, total firearm sales in August 2020 alone exceeded sales for the entirety of 2019.”

WOW, that's a lot of guns..

So what do we do with this information?

When I have an idea of a market I want to learn more about, I use one of these websites

adspy ($100/m)
droppoint ($5/m)

They show you current and past Facebook ads based on the parameters you choose.

Visit one and search “gun”

You’ll see thousands of ads that contain the word “gun”

Sort by “comments” or “shares”

Take some time and explore, see anything that catches your eye?

Here’s one that caught my eye 👉🏾

This product is pretty in line with the emotions we noticed many people in the world are feeling currently AND it fits right in with the massive increase in gun sales this year.

The video plays to the fear of loss.

People fear losing their life, belongings and loved ones.

Do you see where we’re going with this?

We uncovered a common emotion, found how it expresses itself in the economy and have now found a way we can capitalize on it.

Let’s look at some marketing angles that have already been working for the same or similar products.

Study these examples, emulate what you see that's already working and add in some additional value props.

(by reading the comments on the competitions ads, I see that many of them never delivered)

So maybe add something like..

"🇺🇸 FREE USA Shipping"

And don't call this product “belly band gun holster”

We’re going to name it something like

“Strong Eagle Concealed Tactical Belt”

Let's dive into the margins of this product 💸

You’ll probably be buying this 1 unit at a time from AliExpress.

You can buy it for around $10 straight from China but for $13 you can buy it shipped from USA warehouse.

That’s a no brainer.

Choose the $13 option.

Now I truly believe you can sell this for $44.99 but after product cost ($13) and ads ($25) and transaction fees ($1.60)

You’re left with a measly $5.38

Which is profitable but not how you want to build a business.

So what can we do to increase our profitability?

Increasing our AOV is our best bet.

If we can get someone to spend $60, $70 or even $100 you’ll go from barely profitable to having solid 30% margins.

Which will allow you to hire help, invest into your biz, get double meat at chipotle and fill up your tank without logging into your bank app.

The good life right?

Easiest way to increase your AOV?

Get our customers to buy more of our Strong Eagle Concealed Tactical Belt.

Here are 2 of my favorite ways to increase AOV

1. Post purchase upsells

My apps of choice are sweet upsell ($10) or zipify OCU ($75?)

Offer customers 50% off another concealed tactical belt.

You’ll see anywhere between 10-25% of customers taking this offer

If you're bold, offer them 50% off another 2 or 3 tactical belts.

It's 100% worth a test.

2. Bundles .. This is a HUGE money maker for me

Take your product page to the next level with this app Variant Options Swatch King

It makes your variants super easy to see and choose from.

What you want to do is use these variant selections to create deals.

You'll be able to make variants like this..

Now that we’ve gone through the numbers, let’s talk about how we can make $30,000 (or more) in profit in less than 90 days.

Your VERY first goal is $100 per day.

You’ll easily crush this as it’s only 2 sales ($69 AOV)

Your numbers will look like this..

$138 revenue
$22 product cost
$50 ads
$4.6 transaction fees
= $61 “profit” 44% margin

Now this might not seem like much but it’s a GREAT foundation to start with.

As you..

- launch retargeting
- increase your ad budgets
- tweak your offer more

You’ll quick go from $100 a day in revenue to $500 to $1,000 and even $3,000 per day isn’t out of the question.
