Religious people often points to the human eye as en example of a creator God. They fail to understand that evolution has merely optimized it to the selection pressures, and this ”perfection” is our perspective of ”perfection”. We can move on now!
Because of evolution and the human understanding of the mechanism of evolution, at this point mythological god characters are now reduced to be ”God of the gaps”.
What that means is that your gods exist in between gaps of human knowledge. And this is only because you can get away with attibuting something to a God because currently there is no scientific explanation for it.
What this also means is that your god is an ever decreasing pocket of scientific ignorance getting smaller and smaller by the day as human scientific knowledge accumulates over time as we collectively learn and problem solve.
History if full of examples of the god of the gaps phenomena. Thunder and lightening was once thought of as gods wrath. But then we explained it all away. So that stories died with it.
Astroid and comments were once thought of omens from the god character of the story teller as foretelling famines and death of King and all sorts of things.
But then our understanding of the universe grew and we know a great deal about celestial bodies now. So no one thinks it's god any more. The god disappears as soon as the gap is filled by knowledge.
And so as human knowledge accumulate as we collectively learn over time and solve problems, your god will eventually be discarded into the history pages for the mythology it really is. Grow up and get over yourselves. #PostReligious
Every opportunity we get, we need to amplify the vile and disgusting nature of the Islamic mind for the people to see, to process and to introspect. Because our play is, we are making an assumption that people are better humans than Islam would have them become. /1
Repeat this exposure to the Islamic toxicity and cruelty will eventually lead people to be humiliated to follow Islam. This is the bet we make every day when we expose the evils of Islamic doctrine to the people. /2
In the Maldives; when we look back at the activism work we have done since Islamists murdered @yaamyn, we can clearly see this strategy has begun to work as the Overton Window in the country slowly begins to shift away from Islamic theocracy. /3
Western governments need better mechanisms in place to be able to integrate refugees they help with. The world has a lot of displaced refugees who need genuine help. Bad actors are actively looking to exploit this as a vulnerability. Better screenings and integration is needed!
At this point what is glaringly obvious is that without proper integration into the social contracts of the host country, societies tend to get fragmented and tribes emerge.
As soon as this happens, separatists movements begin their work to dismantle the host country’s social contracts. While those separatists movements such as Islamists may just merely cause disruption and terror, they won't still be able to change those countries immediately.
I reported todays threats to @rcmpgrcpolice. Had a long interview today with Police just a while ago. I don't always report threats, but the timing, the nature and context of the threats and what's happening around the world right now it felt important that I reported today.
For the last three years, I have made point of logging all credible threats I get with RCMP. This is done to leave a record of all that goes on with regards to my security with law enforcement in Canada.
This ensures that law enforcement is empowered with the right information and context to respond to a potential security threat to me.
This was a difficult book to get through and hard to absorb in a single read. But this book explains in detail how artificial superintelligence will eventually arise and what are the works that being done. It's also a fascinating walkthrough of what intelligence really is.
This year has been wild with so many things happening in a news cycle it's just really crazy and hard to keep track off. I mean think about it, from pandemic to trump to Islamist, to black lives matter and climate change and so many more things than I can fit into this tweet.
It may not be so obvious right now, but this moment of defiance by #France will define global geopolitics for many years to come. #JeSuisMacron
What @EmmanuelMacron has done is find the courage and begun to seek the language, the policies and strategy to protect enlightenment values, human rights, civil liberties from an increasingly globalized and emboldening Islamic supremacist movement. #JeSuisFrance
The outrage from the Islamic world can't be sustained in perpetuity to bend France to it's will. Eventually there has to be a point of either violent pushback by Islamist or dialogue by moderates, pushing the extremists publicly into the margins. Something has to give.
