Thread: In case y'all are wondering who at the DOJ is in charge of election law matters at the @TheJusticeDept -- there are two places to look. First, the Civil Rights Division of DOJ, which is headed by Eric Dreiband, Don McGahn (former WH Counsel) law partner. DOJ says it sent/
2/ election personnel to 44 jurisdictions to monitor this election. Curiously, many of these are places with massive problems in this election including Detroit, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Maricopa County ... What did they observe exactly ... 🤔justice.gov/opa/pr/justice…
3/ Whatever it was, they aren't doing anything about it 🤷‍♀️and the @realDonaldTrump campaign is filing suits in several states to ensure that all & only legal ballots are counted. There is another deparatment of DOJ where election problems are addressed -- criminal division ...
4/ and guess who is in charge of the Election Crimes Branch of the DOJ Criminal Division? A career guy named Richard Pilger: and if the name seems vaguely familiar at all, it's because Pilger was deeply involved in the Lois Lerner IRS scandal... linkedin.com/in/richard-pil…
5/ ... Allegedly colluding with her on ways to target and prosecute conservative organizations like Tea Party and others. Here's an article from @ACLJ about his involvement with Lerner's illegal scheme to frame conservatives: aclj.org/free-speech-2/…
6/ Pilger, when subpoenaed to Capitol Hill by House Oversight, Darrell Issa in 2014, refused to answer over three dozen questions under oath on the advice of DOJ attorneys. thehill.com/policy/finance… And despite this history, Pilger is STILL in charge of the same department at DOJ/
7/ HE's supposed to be controlling the prosecution of election fraud in this election? The guy accused of conspiring with Lois Lerner to criminalize conservative speech? Don't hold your breath about Nevada GOP criminal referral that DOJ is "looking into": pjmedia.com/election/tyler…
8/ The government is full of survivors like this -- they burrow in, lurk, and like submarines they surface to survey, then dive & fire torpedos. And you never know what hit you. DOJ civil rights & election integrity have been MIA in this election ... it didn't have to be so.

President Trump is relaxed, happy, and cracking jokes about AI. He was introduced by first @JDVance1 and then David Sacks.
@JDVance1 Many crypto leaders in the house, including from Coinbase and other companies.

I find it fascinating that Republican senators are willing to go to bat to impose a nationwide IVF standard or else forfeit federal Medicaid funds, but they won’t take a similar stand on citizen-only voting, tying that to federal funding for voting. Why is that? Both are popular.
I think reason is that Dems are fearmongering on IVF so it’s an election hedge (even though generally Rs should oppose federalizing stuff) but there’s no corresponding money on the right to highlight risks of noncitizen voting so 🤷🏽‍♀️. But we lose our country if noncitizens vote.
Republicans congressmen apparently also DGAF about state and federal government censorship of private speech through social media proxies because they have done diddly squat to fix judicial expansion of CDA 230 immunity or to fix the censorship itself.

My GOODNESS, look at all the lawyer acts, some might even say predicate acts, committed by election-denying attorney Mark Elias in Iowa in 2021, claiming vote counts were wrong, "finding" extra votes... urging the legislature to flip the outcome... 🫨🤯dailycaller.com/2021/03/22/mar…
What Marc Elias did in Iowa in 2020/2021 is something for which President Trump, his lawyers, and followers, are being indicted. And what top Democrat lawyers including David Boies, did in 2000. Not to mention the Russia collusion hoax. Should Iowa indict Elias for election work?
What should Iowa prosecutors do?

My friend and client @TuckerCarlson will not be silenced — by the far left or by Fox News. Scoop: Fox sends Tucker Carlson cease-and-desist letter axios.com/2023/06/12/fox…
For all the friends who have been asking “why don’t we see you on Fox anymore?” — This is why. I am passionately committed to free speech and a free flow of information necessary for a free society. Until Fox stops trying to silence Tucker, it’s not a place for me. And I feel for… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

1/I want to thank the tens of thousands of Americans who reached out to encourage me during my race for RNC chair, and the thousands of messages & calls of kindness after Friday’s vote. I will pick myself up & keep fighting for what I believe. No loss or obstacle will deter me./
2/I know many people who supported change at the RNC feel discouraged by the outcome. But don’t give up! In my Sikh faith we have a concept called “chardi kala”—because we trust in God’s higher plan, we must always strive to be buoyant, optimistic, and positive in our spirits.🙏🏼/
3/I took a lot of risks & got outside my comfort zone to take on this challenge for the people I represent, and won’t let this effort go to waste. I will continue to work with the RNC to defeat the radical left. I don’t know what official role I will have, if any, but I’m ready./

I’m so thankful for the non-RNC-members who jumped into a very challenging RNC race & gave 150%. The core team got little sleep since December 5. We took on the most entrenched establishment in US conservatism, some at great personal & professional risk, no fear or hesitation./
2/First up—my amazing husband Sarv. He gave up our personal time, normal schedule, & had to deal w/20-hr days & a higher than usual degree of stress—(& he’s married to a trial lawyer!) He made a lot of masala chai and healthy meals, gave great advice, and was my rock 🥰😘. Love!/
3/ Next up is my longtime PR, booker, comms guy, @MattShupePR. He & team were always there to handle media, PR, campaign comms and materials, graphics and logistics. Professionals throughout including @DaytonaEverett, Ian Henderson and Jack Uribe. Great job!/
