A collection of common glyphs of the poorly understood Memeorite civilization of the Second Silicon Age. Memeorite glyphs possess multiple conflicting interpretations and a complexity of meaning impossible to capture in a few short words. These are rough translations only. Image
I don't know why I had the sudden need to make glyphs of common internet meme templates, but here we are.

I hope they are all understandable with caption. And that someone besides just me finds them amusing.
To help everyone!

Ta-Dah!
Oh god. I honestly expected 5, maybe 10 favs from mutuals. I would've taken more time to reference the originals instead of drawing from memory if I knew this was going to be A Thing.
A further indulgence:

One of the most curious aspects of the Memeorite protolanguage is the existence of Curses Which Are Warnings. Both curse and representation of a curse, these seem to be attacks in glyphic form. While each had their own meaning, the nuances are lost to time. Image
(Apologies/Thanks to @CBrenchley for giving me the inspiration for how to represent Rick's microphone and making the doodle finally click. )
I had no idea how much interest there was for studies on the languages of the lost Memeorite civilization. I’ve pulled together some additional translations that most scholars of the Silicon Ages agree on for you all to enjoy.
As before, translations are only approximate. Image
In all honesty, though, I remain blown away by the response these have gotten. I love the conversations, and I absolutely love all the additional Meme Glyphs others have been creating. You are all the best. Thank you so much.
For Part 2, I stuck with either memes I already had roughed out before I posted Part 1, or memes that other people hadn't already done. I don't want to give the impression I'm stealing ideas or thunder from anyone else!
My husband really wanted a t-shirt, so I made a tweaked transparent version and put it on teepublic for him. They're discounted for another two days if anyone else wants one too! teepublic.com/t-shirt/159411…
And as thanks for reading the above: Here's your cheat-sheet for Memeorite Glyphs #2.
Ta-dah! Image
We know of First Silicon Age glyphs only through Memeorite references.
The translation of their description for these ancient glyphs is debated. The main alternative is “Preserved in the Memory of the Ninety Offspring”. Who these ninety offspring might be is unclear. Image
Ah, it turned out so good!

It’s my first tshirt, I’m feeling happy! It’s nice to feel. Image
