I’m telling you. The GOP wants ES&S to control 70% of the voting machine market again. Dominion is what broke up ES&S’s near monopoly. ES&S systems have vanished black votes in GA & TN. ES&S misled about remote access & internet connectivity to its systems. It is GOP connected.
“Exclusive: Thousands of Black Votes in Georgia Disappeared [from ES&S/Diebold voting systems]. and No One Can Explain It” theroot.com/exclusive-thou…
“Top Voting Machine Vendor [ES&S] Admits It Installed Remote-Access Software on Systems Sold to States” vice.com/en/article/mb4…
“Experts find nearly three dozen U.S. voting systems [supplied by ES&S] connected to internet” nbcnews.com/politics/elect…
ES&S systems also lost black votes in Memphis in 2015 as explained by election commissioner @benniejsmith.
ES&S has donated $30,000 to the Republican State Legislative Committee since 2013. (I wrote this article.) nybooks.com/daily/2018/11/…
Voting machine vendor ES&S’s chairman from 1992-1996 was Republican Chuck Hagel who resigned a few weeks before announcing his intent to run for the US senate, a race that was supposed to be a “dead heat” but that he instead won by 15 points. 1/electiondefense.org/how-to-part-two
ES&S is still controlled by the McCarthy Group whose chairman & founder, Mike McCarthy was Republican Senator Chuck Hagel’s campaign treasurer. 2/ federalnewsnetwork.com/government-new…
3/ The relationship among Mike McCarthy/Hagel/ES&S is discussed in this great piece from 2012 by Victoria Collier. harpers.org/archive/2012/1…
Voting machine vendor ES&S (previously called AIS) received its initial funding from the families of Howard Ahmanson Jr. and Nelson Bunker Hunt, who were politically active Christian Fundamentalist billionaires. 1/ motherjones.com/politics/2004/…
Hunt co-founded a secretive right-wing networking group called the Council for National Policy (CNP). Ahmanson was a prominent early member too. Recent members include KellyAnne Conway, Steve Bannon, & the Mercers, all alumna of Cambridge Analytica. 2/ link.medium.com/XtfgRlwHzbb
Bob & Todd Urosevich founded ES&S. Todd stayed at ES&S while Bob moved to Global Election Systems where he was named President in Sept 2000. Global’s snr. VP & largest shareholder had served years in prison for sophisticated computer tampering. 3/ legacy.tyt.com/2018/08/17/kob…
ATM manufacturer Diebold, Inc., whose CEO was a prominent George W. Bush donor, acquired Global in 2002 & renamed it Diebold Election Systems. The CEO told other potential donors in a fundraising letter that he was committted to delivering Ohio to Bush. 4/ nytimes.com/2003/11/09/bus…
Diebold told the media that the convicted felon (whose crimes involved computer tampering) was no longer with the company, but @BevHarrisWrites discovered he had remained as a consultant. (She was the one who exposed his criminal record to begin with.) 5/ nybooks.com/daily/2019/12/…
6/ Voting machine vendor ES&S acquired Diebold in 09, giving ES&S control of 70% of the market. The DOJ forced ES&S 2 sell some of Diebold’s assets, which Dominion bought. But ES&S kept some (I suspect most) contracts which is where the control comes from. justice.gov/opa/pr/justice…
7/ This is when and how Dominion came to enter the US voting machine market. It broke up ES&S’s near monopoly and acquired Diebold’s intellectual property rights and some warehoused equipment while ES&S kept some or most of Diebold’s contracts & probably most of its personnel.
8/ Dominion also acquired a much smaller vendor called Sequoia and made it a subsidiary.
9/ This 2017 Wharton analysis concluded that ES&S controls 44% of the market and Dominion 37%. trustthevote.org/wp-content/upl…
10/ But ES&S may have more control than this analysis suggests. I believe it put all Diebold jurisdictions in the Dominion column (due to its intellectual property rights) even if ES&S retained the servicing & maintenance contracts, which is where control of elections comes from.

Georgia did not apparently conduct a proper reconciliation of the paper trail b4 starting the audit. Had they done so, it wld have “avoided the ‘discovery’ of thousands of ballots in several counties during the hand count that had not been included in statewide results.” 1/
“In the current climate, this [failure] has added fuel to allegations of wrongdoing—even though it didn’t change the election’s outcome. After all was said and done, Biden was still the winner, by 12,284 votes—less than 500 votes different from the tally compiled by machine.” 2/
Experts emphasized that their concerns with the audit/recount “were not, they underlined, due to evidence of wrongdoing, or fraud, or challenges to the election’s legitimacy.” 3/

This is why the GOP singles out Dominion system vulnerabilities & political ties, but ignores ES&S system vulnerabilities & political ties 1/

Dear followers: If ur up for it, pls help me debunk or defuse some of the GOP’s propaganda re: election integrity. Pls search for the word “Dominion” or “Dominion Voting” & reply to their propaganda w/ the tweet below or any of my other tweets or put it in your own words. TY. 1/
2/ I know we won’t persuade the many Republican influencers who are deliberately gaslighting voters, but perhaps we can at least inform some of the voters who read their propaganda. Thank you.
3/ I also know this may seem like putting a drop of water in a bucket. But this is exactly how I grew my account. By trying to inform people about election integrity one drop at a time. You never know who you may reach. And if we join together we can reach a lot more. TY.
