Perhaps the UN or other international agencies could assist the struggling US government in this time of transition--some sort of interim authority seems warranted, perhaps led by a multinational coalition
We could even make this, how do you say, mandatory
At root, of course, are the artificial borders of the US caused by imperialism and war. Readjusting those borders to better reflect current realities would reduce tensions in this land
Send us your best, or any 25-year-olds who worked on your leaders' campaigns, whatever
Note for any readers who happen to be particularly dense: the joke is that the US and the "international community" frequently do this and...sometimes it goes well! Sometimes it does not. Maybe we should be more careful about that.

Also, just on a personal note: I’m not sure if @AdamBKushner chose the photo of the old Watergate exhibit himself, but boy did it take me back
That was the last stop in the Watergate exhibit that the Nixon foundation installed. It was a grim, depressing, and comically misleading exhibit that called Watergate a coup attempt by Democrats and downplayed Nixon’s involvement.
The big photo of Nixon waving—NOT, mind you, more famous ones of Nixon throwing the V for Victory that everyone else knows—was meant to cap the idea that removing Nixon from office was Bad and not a cause for a permanent federal holiday Image

Very pleased that my article about the presidential library system—and what Trump’s library foundation could be—is out ⁦…
This article talks about how the precedents of Nixon and Obama have turned post-presidencies into taxpayer subsidized legacy projects—and how Trump could use his foundation as a vehicle for enrichment and a political comeback.
It draws on my experience working for @TimNaftali at the Nixon Library—and argues that the whitewashing of that library’s history bodes ill for the Trump Image
