“Their reactions to the noble efforts of exhausted election workers were not, they underlined, due to evidence of wrongdoing, or fraud, or challenges to the election’s legitimacy.” 1/
“Their concerns owed to the process being used, what state officials were calling it, & what this cld mean for future attempts to build public trust in election results,” including the January 5 special elections in GA that will decide the balance of power in the US Senate. 2/
Georgia did not apparently conduct a proper reconciliation of the paper trail b4 starting the audit. Had they done so, it wld have “avoided the ‘discovery’ of thousands of ballots in several counties during the hand count that had not been included in statewide results.” 3/
“In the current climate, this [failure] has added fuel to allegations of wrongdoing—even though it didn’t change the election’s outcome. After all was said and done, Biden was still the winner, by 12,284 votes—less than 500 votes different from the tally compiled by machine.” 4/

This is lame. The affidavit says that “vote counting was abruptly stopped in five states using Dominion,” but does not identify the states, or when the counting allegedly stopped, or how the affiant knows that it stopped. We already knew that Venezuela’s election was suspect. 1/
I wrote about Smartmatic and Venezuela here. Again, why did the GOP kill the #SAFEAct, which would have required robust manual audits to confirm electronic results? Did they expect to benefit from potentially rigging themselves? 2/ link.medium.com/mH7ft1NDBbb
All the affidavit shows is that voting machine tallies can be rigged through the central tabulators. Anyone paying attention already knew that. Showing that it can happen is not the same as showing it did happen. 3/

Propagandists “omit or distort pertinent facts or simply lie,” & “try to divert...attention...from everything but their own propaganda.”

This is why the GOP singles out Dominion system vulnerabilities & political ties, but ignores ES&S system vulnerabilities & political ties 1/

3/ It’s also why Rs never mention that Democrats championed election-security legislation (the #SAFEAct) that would have required robust manual audits to confirm electronic results, but Republicans mercilessly blocked it. Image

.@jhalderm “also argues that if Republicans were really concerned about election integrity, they wld have more seriously considered comprehensive legislation aimed at fixing the problem. Instead, ... they ...blocked it.” 1/ washingtonpost.com/politics/2020/…
2/ Note: The GOP, for example, blocked the #SAFEAct, which would have required robust manual audits to confirm election outcomes.

Voting machine vulnerabilities are an “‘industry-wide concern,’ ⁦@jhalderm⁩ said. ‘There’s no logical reason to be singling out one company,’” Dominion, while ignoring the others, including voting machine vendor behemoth ES&S. By ⁦@neeratandenwashingtonpost.com/politics/2020/…

Dear followers: If ur up for it, pls help me debunk or defuse some of the GOP’s propaganda re: election integrity. Pls search for the word “Dominion” or “Dominion Voting” & reply to their propaganda w/ the tweet below or any of my other tweets or put it in your own words. TY. 1/
2/ I know we won’t persuade the many Republican influencers who are deliberately gaslighting voters, but perhaps we can at least inform some of the voters who read their propaganda. Thank you.
3/ I also know this may seem like putting a drop of water in a bucket. But this is exactly how I grew my account. By trying to inform people about election integrity one drop at a time. You never know who you may reach. And if we join together we can reach a lot more. TY.
