“The hand of Jesus touched me,” sings Michigan’s top Republican State Sen. leader as he arrived back at Detroit Metro Airport after meeting Trump.

State Sen. Shirkey has previously pushed “herd immunity” and said “Mother Nature...process” was part of solution to coronavirus.
Back from meeting Trump in DC, MI Senate Majority Leader Shirkey sings a gospel Christian song ‘He Touched Me’ at Detroit Metro Airport: “Then the hand of Jesus touched me, And I am no longer the same. He touched me, Oh he touched me, And oh the joy...”
Sen. Shirkey, who leads MI Senate, appears to have been singing a 1963 gospel Christian song by Gaither:
Sen. Shirkey, Senate Majority leader in MI, sang another gospel song when at airport in DC: “When time has surrendered & earth is no more, I will cling to the old rugged cross.”

Reminder he has pushed fatalistic ideas for coronavirus response such as “Mother Nature...process.”
More video of Michigan's top state Senate leader singing a Christian gospel song instead of answering questions about his meeting with Trump. No comments from him about the coronavirus exploding or certifying election results.
