1) It is imperative to always remember that @RudyGiuliani’s delusions began to take him over on the day he tried to subvert democracy by extending his term as NYC mayor by three months because ‘the new guy’ wasn’t qualified to handle post-9/11 NYC
2) ‘The new guy’ was @MikeBloomberg who was and is a lot of things, but ‘not qualified’ wasn’t one of them. Rudy then moved on to sending the felon @BernardKerik in as DHS secretary. His nomination was withdrawn. Rudy continued to believe he was the next POTUS and led the polls.
3) Then in a Democratic debate, one candidate dismissed Giuliani’s every sentence as “A noun, a verb, and 9/11.” The candidate was @joebiden. Giuliani spent $61,000,000 and won no delegates. He has a vendetta against Biden because he thinks Biden - not the 0-for-$61M - did him in
4) Next thing you knew Rudy was rubbing himself in a Borat film, holding a press conference next to the porn shop, and his shit-for-brains was leaking out of his ears on national television standing between Lady Delusions Of Grandeur Antebellum, and Attorney Barbie.
5) But this is far far older. I met Giuliani at a baseball event I MC’d for the hall of fame, on the steps of city hall, in 1996!Before his speech he seemed impaired, then rambled, then forgot the names of the HOF president, the MC, and which teams played in NY.
6/6 I’m not qualified to tell you exactly what’s wrong with Rudy but it’s been going on for 25 years (and I’ve left out his wife finding out he was divorcing her, only when he announced it at a news conference).

Gist: if he seems crazy to you, a) ya think? b) he doesn’t think so

Oh here we go. The first MLB game played under Beer League rules. Runner placed at second to start the top of the 10th, Angels at A’s.

This is some serious bullshit right here: Image
I mean honestly if they had the rival catchers stand at the plate and see who could throw the most baseballs into a garbage can at second - with an Astros employee standing next to it - I’d prefer that.
And the runner Ohtani - exactly who you want out there running the risk of injury - gets caught in a rundown and the runner isn’t at second any more. Image

1/7 You know already that 39 years ago tonight, John Lennon was killed outside his home here in NYC. I was a sportscaster just leaving my 1st pro job working for Sam Rosen at UPI Radio to go work for Charley Steiner at RKO and used the short break to visit my old station @wvbr
2/7 I was never a DJ there: I did sports, news, ads for the top-rated commercial Rock station owned then as now by Cornell students. Most of them had been my trainees, and I joined one of them as the 10p-2a disc jockey. Around 11:30, the news came in. I found the air check today.
3/7 My friend Mike McNeil and I were in a state of shock, of course. I sound like a robot on this tape; it was that or weep. The worst of all possible outcomes became official - improbably - as we concluded a set of John Lennon’s songs with “In My Life”
