The blueprints to stokvel investing in 6 easy steps
#talkcents

Here is the story
(Thread) ๐Ÿ‘‡
Step 1:

Define your target and niche.
Recruit a small group of people, friends, family, investors.

My group was expats.

Have a window period for recruitment and target a predetermined number of people, then close admission.

*Try to Keep it as confined as possible.
Step 2:

Open a 32day investment acct. Members can contribute an amount to this account on the monthly, as mandated by the stokvel contract.

We decided to contribute between R1000-R5000 a month. Our contribution amount is totally dependant on our affordability for the month.
Step 3:

At the end of every year transfer all or a % of the monies to an @EasyEquities stokvel investment account.

As a stokvel you'll now have two accounts to oversee.

1. 32 day investment account with your bank @CapitecBankSA
@FNBSA @Nedbank

2. EasyEquities group account
Step 4:

Register a company and open a business bank account. @BizPortalGovZa

#firstfixedcost

Transfers funds from your 32 day account into your business bank account.

You now have the ability to issue shares to members

Link all your accounts under the business umbrella.
Step 5:

Empty out your 32 day account and open recruitment again if you want to. You now have the option to issue shares to new members if you wish.
Step 6:

Build a credit history with the bank, transact, and build rapport Director(s) can also sign assurity for a loan.

Look to buy property, start a business, build ect.

Use the liquidity from members and the loan facility to leverage up. #passiveincome

โ–ช๏ธGFECRA

National Treasury is one of many departments of the South African Government

The Treasury falls within the portfolio of the Minister of Finance, and the role of NT is to manage the Governmentโ€™s Finances.

The South African Revenue Service (SARS) and Statistics South Africa also fall under this wing.

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”-

The Gold and Foreign Exchange Contingency Reserve Account is a tool used to safeguard the country's financial stability.

This accountโ€™s purpose is in its name, it holds the reserves of gold and foreign currencies South Africa has built up.

The story dates back to 1886 and can be traced to the days of the Johannesburg Gold rush.

Here is how a man with a small brewery in Northern Natal led to the historic legacy of the South African Breweries (SAB)
โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”

Charles Glass, British-Born-Brewer, established Glass & Co in 1864, which ended up giving birth to a global powerhouse in the later years.

As time passed, he saw a money making opportunity in the market, to provide miners with beer in the Witwatersrand Reef

The beer soon became a hit that Charles and his wife, Lisa, decided to set up their brewery in the business centre of the town to capture the influx of fortune seekers coming to Witwatersrand Reef.

The phrase โ€œ๐——๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฎ ๐—ด๐—ผ๐—น๐—ฑ ๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐˜€๐—ต, ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—น๐—น ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€โ€, seems more appropriate hereโ€.

His beer brew took some time to gain traction, it was only when Charles Glassโ€™s new beer, ๐—–๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—•๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ, was introduced that he won the miners over and secured the market.

It was in 1884 that Castleโ€™s famous label, ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ-๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€, ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐˜€ ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐˜‚๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ.

โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”

As a result of his success with Castle Beer, he renamed his business to โ€œ๐—–๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—•๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜†โ€ and focused on distribution, to expand.

Other brewing companies grew interested in Charles Success, and soon realized the market was MASSIVE in the Witwatersrand.

Because of this astonishing growth, Frederick Mead, another brewer from Pietermaritzburg, negotiated to purchase Castle Brewery in
July of 1892.

Frederick Meadโ€™s brewing empire combined with Castle brewery ๐˜๐—ผ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—บ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ต ๐—”๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—•๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€ (๐—ฆ๐—”๐—•) ๐—ถ๐—ป ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿด๐Ÿต๐Ÿฑ.Image
