UPDATE: Two days ago, I flagged how Karl Rove's Super PAC, American Crossroads, was using Facebook to run an outrageously dishonest attack on Raphael Warnock.

It has finally been removed.
2. I did not create Facebook's ad policy. Facebook created its ad policy. But it enforced the policy only after:

-- I fact checked the ad

-- I altered one of Facebook's fact checkers

-- The fact checker confirmed it was misleading

-- I noted it still was running on Facebook Image
3. Don't rely on Twitter or any other social media platform to keep you informed. Get your information directly.

4. There is no reason why this ad had to reach 100K to 500K Georgians before it was taken down but at least it won't reach any more Georgians on Facebook between now and January 5

Baltimore adopted a comprehensive set of "woke" policies, treating violence as a public health issue
2. In April, Baltimore had the fewest homicides (5) in 50 yrs!

In 2025, homicides are down 22%, & non-fatal shootings were down 19%

This follows a 23% drop in homicides & a 34% drop in non-fatal shootings in 2024

Mayor Brandon Scott (D) has done it by treating violent crime as a public health crisis.

That means treating violent crime as a symptom of racism, poverty, and past violence.

It means taking proactive and preventative measures.

1. Former Congressman Alex Mooney (R-WV) stepped down in January after spending a decade in Congress.

A few weeks later, video obtained by Popular Information reveals, he was working at a lobbying firm.
2. Mooney joined a webinar on February 27 with the Christian Employers Alliance.

The president of the CEA said that Mooney had joined the lobbying firm Capitol South and would soon be "representing CEA on the Hill."

1. The FCC has suspended a rule, schedule to go in effect this year, that would have banned prisons from price gouging on phone calls.

Right now, at some jails, a 15-minute phone call can cost over $11.

The decision benefits some of Trump's top donors.
2. The rule scrapped by Trump's FCC would do two things.

First, it would cap the rates jails and prisons could charge for phone calls.

Second, it would ban kickbacks from telecom companies to prisons.

3. The second part is key because the companies that provide phone services to prison kick back up to 50% of their revenue back to the prison operator.

This incentivizes prisons from signing up phone service providers with the highest rates and fees.
