最近見好多朋友講緊由WhatsApp轉會Signal
當年,小弟響香港某廣告公司工作
曾經負責Line嘅網絡宣傳工作

今日想同大家分享一下
當年我接觸到嘅競爭對手WhatsApp
佢地嘅網絡言論策略,
睇睇佢地多年來
每一次有競爭對手出現都會採用嘅戰略 (1/N)
香港自2008年,
曾令WhatsApp產生危機感而有動作嘅
包括Line,WeChat,以及而家嘅Signal

而每次,
WhatsApp所使用嘅策略都係同一套
包括淡化、抹黑、製造混亂

WhatsApp作為香港人慣性使用嘅通訊軟件
佢地無需要響網絡上贏出任何辯論
佢地嘅目的只有一個
就係「製造資訊疲勞」

WhatsApp非常清楚香港人
「怕麻煩」、「三分鐘熱度」特性
只要令大量資訊持續轟炸
(包括網絡上嘅罵戰,大量資訊湧現)
大部份網民都會響新鮮感下降
以及唔想再睇呢d情緒下
選擇繼續用返「慣性使用」嘅WhatsApp

而事實亦證明,當年Line敗仗
係因為正、反、持平三方大混戰
大量網民對於資訊混亂無法理出頭緒或結論
最終選擇「唔轉會」,「用返WhatsApp算啦」

而至於WeChat,
當年雖然有Big4廣告同演唱會聲勢浩大
甚至響海底隧道出口放出大型廣告牌,
聲勢一時無兩

但WhatsApp以遠低於廣告牌價錢
響討論區製造混亂
配合幾個討論區網民對大陸嘅反感
要維持WhatsApp於霸權實在易如反掌

接下來,本人預計,
WhatsApp已經開始第一階段「淡化」手段
本港網絡上已經開始出現「Signal亦有問題」
以及「WhatsApp做法跟其他產品差不多
呢一類嘅講法

稍後時間,高登連登等討論區,
將會出現大量有關Signal的不利新聞,
假新聞以及罵戰出現
呢一切響2月8日WhatsApp新Policy生效前
將會到達頂峰,令部份人跌落去
「算啦,Click同意WhatsApp嘅Policy」諗法
