Day 7 MS Teams Tip- using forms within assignments. I have found marking on forms really quick and easy, especially for short answer/ mixed assignments and source based Q's. A thread on how I have used them...
1) Go to assignments and choose create> quiz. Then choose the form/quiz from MS Forms.
2) It then asks you to choose the teams to assign it to. Some things to note in the assignment... Add instructions so students know. Chand the date due and the time. Also, you can assign it to specific channels in the team, if like me you are using channels to organise your teams
3) The main thing I like is the ease for marking. I can get every question up and just scroll down the forms page. I click on the points I've assigned to a question in forms, then click the speech mark next to it to add a comment.
4) When I've posted the scores it automatically uploads to MS assignments and updates my grade book for the class. A great way to keep track of low-stakes quizzes as well as more substantial assessments.

Having used teams all through lockdown and teaching lessons to a whole year group here are my top tops...
1) rather than sharing your whole screen have your PowerPoint in one drive and it shares it inside the box which enables you to see participants and chat at the side
2) I tend to plan the lesson to have teacher talk at the beginning and then set them up for a task to do independently for the second part of the lesson away from the screen- sometimes they’ll upload this for me other times not
