"Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to *abolish* the ELECTORAL COLLEGE and to provide for the DIRECT ELECTION of the... President of the United States."

The Democratic Party moves to nationalize elections & solidify a permanent majority.🔻
This would be a Constitutional amendment and thus, subject to a much higher threshold of passage.

Resolution text:…
Co-sponsors of resolution to abolish Electoral College. (Several Reps. from NY & CA, which would ultimately decide elections).

"Not until the very end did it become apparent there was a prearranged plan to storm the Capitol building, and to manipulate the unsuspecting crowd as cover and as a follow-on force."

Expert eyewitness account of the Capitol event on Jan. 6:…
"For such a massive event, police presence was light. District of Columbia police and a small group of DC National Guard had a relaxed demeanor, keeping a professional distance from marchers and other pedestrians as they usually do." (Waller)
"Of the thousands of people I passed or who passed me... some were indignant and contemptuous of Congress, but not one appeared angry or incited to riot. Many of the marchers were families with small children; many were elderly, overweight, or just plain tired or frail" (Waller)

Does disagreeing with extremists, ipso facto, make one an "extremist"?

Many people are fleeing from big tech platforms simply because they want radical leftists to leave them alone & stop persecuting those who doesn't believe in their dystopian plans for a totalitarian society.
This is an example of extremist leftist language.

"Well, one of the beautiful things about America is everybody is allowed to come out and voice their opinion. That's what soldiers fight for."

@RepBrianMast on BLM protesters who threatened Congressmen in August. A class act — unlike @jaketapper.
Here's one of the Republicans who was threatened by BLM:
@RandPaul. The mainstream media did not show much concern for their safety at the time. Phonies.
Where were the calls for putting Bernie supporters on terror watch lists after this event, where Republicans were literally shot at during a baseball game?

Seems a bit more objectively life-threatening than the Capitol siege event, no?…

This may not have occurred to national media, but not *just* Democrats were attacked at Capitol siege.

Republicans were also attacked -- during the time GOP Reps. were making objections on behalf of President Trump.

Bombs were also found at the RNC.🔻…
So, if I've got this right, President Trump incited a mob to go to Congress and *STOP* Republicans from mass-objecting to Electoral College slates? That's an unusual argument if you start breaking down the alleged rationale.
This is also not how a President would do a "real" coup. He would use partisans in the military or CIA/FBI. Not a mob full of scraggly haired dudes being led by a Viking Q-Anon/climate activist, random Trump supporters from around the country and even some Dems/Antifa types.

"Today, President Donald J. Trump declared that an *EMERGENCY* exists... and ordered *FEDERAL ASSISTANCE*... due to the emergency conditions resulting from the 59th Presidential Inauguration"...

The Declaration runs from January 11th until January 24th.(!)🔻
People are asking me for my interpretation.

Safest assumption is that the President wants to avoid the train wreck of January 6th from happening again.

"Two members of the US Capitol Police have been suspended after *WELCOMING* pro-Trump rioters into the Capitol building during the insurrection..." (BI)

The plot thickens: A third individual was also arrested, but it is unclear if it was police or National Guard.
