The accused is a student of an engineering university in Karachi and was in contact with terrorists in Syria and Pakistan.

But I can confirm that he was a student of Karachi city's NED University of Engineering and Technology. The university has produced several jihadists in past years. #PAKISTAN

I was talking to a senior counter-terrorism official in Karachi about this last year. He said jihadist terrorist groups specially target students from NED University for recruitment because how good these students are in engineering, which is useful in bomb-making. #Pakistan
